She had no idea where she was. There was a reasonable sized hut to her left and if she didn't know any better, she would say that she was familiar with the land around her, yet at the same time she didn't recognize any of it. It was strange. The trees around her were tall and surrounding the area, and there was a mudded pathway in front of her. In the distance, she could see some children playing in the dirt, wearing next to nothing but no one seemed to care. After several seconds of merely standing there, wondering how she ended up here in the first place, she noticed a young woman had walked through the forest line with a bucket of water in one hand, a smile at her lips as she spoke to the young boy at her side. It didn't take Charlie long to realize the blonde was Rebekah Mikaelson.

This was a different time. She realized that the moment Rebekah and the brown haired boy passed her by without even glancing in her direction. This was a memory, a timeline, of Elijah's and she didn't doubt it despite the fact she couldn't see him in sight. Rebekah looked the same now as she did in Charlie's timeline, telling her that this was recently before she was turned into a vampire by her parents. She wore a well stitched long sleeved dress that fell down to her ankles and her hair was styled in a braid down her back. The sound of metal clashing together caused both her and the boy to pause and she placed the bucket down, a wide grin growing at her lips—like she predicted, no one could see her.

"Come on, Henrik!" Rebekah exclaimed as she looked to the young boy beside her, who Charlie now realized was the little brother of Elijah's that had died before his transformation and had prompted Mikael and Esther to turn their children into vampires to begin with. He looked more like Elijah and Kol than she had thought he would and she felt a wave of sadness at knowing this boy, whose age couldn't be above thirteen years old, had been mauled to death simply because he wanted to spend time with Klaus during the night of the full moon. "Our brothers are fighting again!"

The two of them took off running and with a sigh, Charlie followed after them, knowing that she must be shown this memory for a reason. She knew some things would be different now that she had completed her bond with Elijah but she hadn't thought this would be the kind of thing that came with it. It felt personal, like she was invading by running around in his head. The last time she had seen something she shouldn't had been when she went to that witch, Sasha, who used her personal magic to try and find out everything she could about the soulmate bond. Still, she knew he would likely be experiencing the same and followed after Rebekah and Henrik, arriving in front of a small clearing, where Elijah and Klaus were fighting with swords.

"Oh, look. Sister's arrived to watch my fast-approaching victory." Elijah grinned, his long wavy brown hair falling down to his shoulders.

"On the contrary, Elijah," Klaus smirked as they kept fighting with their swords before he abruptly broke his older brother's belt, resulting in everyone watching to laugh loudly. Klaus quickly disarmed the older Mikaelson, smirking down at him once Elijah fell down onto his back. "She's here to watch you lose."

It was strange looking at them now. Both held so much more innocence than they did as Charlie knew them. Even Rebekah, whose smile was wide as she giggled at her brothers, looked so much more different than she knew she would in a thousand years. The three of them had never taken a life and they were simply enjoying what they had, not knowing what was going to happen to them that would change everything. It took Charlie a moment before feeling someone appear closely to her right and she turned her head to see Esther and Mikael watching the exchange between their sons, an angered expression on the latter's face.

"Relax, Mikael." Esther was telling her husband. "Niklaus means well."

"That is precisely my problem." He growled before leaving his wife's side to approach Klaus, picking up Elijah's discarded sword. "So...Why don't you teach me that trick, young warrior?"
