PART II

Years had passed since Y/N's passing, yet Pedri still carried their love in his heart like a cherished secret. He had learned to live with the ache of missing Y/N, finding comfort in memories that felt both vivid and fragile.

Life had moved on around him. Pedri pursued his career with dedication, finding success that others admired.

But deep down, there was a part of him that remained tethered to the past, to the love he had lost but never forgotten.

One evening, as Pedri walked through the city streets, he passed a familiar cafe. It was a place where he and Y/N had spent countless afternoons lost in conversation, sipping coffee as time seemed to stand still.

A pang of nostalgia washed over him, and he found himself drawn inside.

As Pedri sat at a corner table, lost in his thoughts, a voice interrupted his reverie.

"Excuse me, is this seat taken?"

Startled, Pedri looked up to see a woman standing before him. She had a warmth in her eyes that reminded him of Y/N, a familiarity that stirred something deep within him.

The woman smiled gratefully and took a seat.

"Thank you. I couldn't help but notice you looked lost in thought. Is everything okay?"

Pedri hesitated for a moment, unsure how to explain the flood of emotions that had engulfed him. But something in the woman's presence put him at ease, as if she understood without needing words.

"I was just thinking about someone I lost,"
Pedri admitted softly.

"Someone who meant everything to me."

The woman's expression softened with empathy.

"I'm so sorry to hear that. Losing someone you
love is never easy."

Pedri nodded, grateful for her understanding.

"Yes, but sometimes I feel like they're still with me, you know? Like their presence lingers in the smallest moments."

The woman nodded thoughtfully. "I believe that too. Some bonds are so strong, they transcend time and space."

They talked for hours, sharing stories and discovering unexpected connections. As the evening wore on, Pedri found himself drawn to the woman's warmth and kindness, sensing a familiarity that both comforted and intrigued him.

Before parting ways, the woman hesitated for a moment, her gaze searching Pedri's face.

"I know this might sound strange, but... do you believe in second chances?"

Pedri's heart skipped a beat. He thought of Y/N and the promises they had made, of love that was meant to endure beyond this lifetime.

"In another life," Pedri replied softly, his voice filled with quiet certainty, "I would still choose to love you."

The woman smiled, a knowing sparkle in her eyes. "Maybe we already have."

And as they said their goodbyes, Pedri couldn't shake the feeling that somehow, in the serendipity of that moment, he had found a piece of Y/N's spirit once more - a gentle reminder that love, in all its forms, never truly fades away.
