You start in the living room, where you’ve gathered a collection of colorful balloons, streamers, and a birthday banner that reads, “Happy Birthday, Alejandro!” The soft rustle of decorations fills the silence, and you can’t help but smile at the thought of his reaction when he sees it all.

You inflate the balloons with a small pump, careful to keep the noise to a minimum. Each balloon bounces slightly in your hands, reflecting the excitement bubbling inside you.

Once they’re all ready, you tie them off and arrange them in clusters around the room, mixing bright reds, deep blues, and vibrant yellows.

After that, you shift to the dining table, where you’ve laid out a beautiful spread of Alejandro’s favorite breakfast items: fluffy pancakes, fresh fruit, and a selection of pastries.

You even managed to sneak in a slice of chocolate cake—his absolute favorite—because what’s a birthday without cake? You set a single candle in the center, ready to be lit when he wakes.

The sun begins to rise higher, casting a warm glow over everything, and you take a moment to admire your work. It’s starting to feel like a real celebration, a special day just for him.

Just as you’re about to head to the kitchen for the final touches, you hear a soft groan from the bedroom. Your heart races; you still have a few minutes to finish up before he emerges.

You quietly grab a handful of confetti and sprinkle it around the breakfast table, adding a festive touch.

With everything in place, you take a deep breath, feeling the thrill of anticipation. Just as you’re about to light the candle, you hear the familiar sound of footsteps approaching.

Your heart skips a beat; it’s time.

“Surprise!” you shout, lighting the candle just as Alejandro walks into the room, his hair tousled and eyes still half-closed.

He blinks at the sight before him, the vibrant colors and the delicious spread seemingly hitting him all at once.

“Wow…” he murmurs, a sleepy smile spreading across his face.

“You did all this?”

You nod, feeling a rush of joy at his reaction.

He steps closer, taking in the decorations and the table filled with his favorites.

“This is incredible,” he says, his eyes sparkling with appreciation.

You laugh lightly, warmth spreading through your chest.

“I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me. I hope you like it.”

“Like it? I love it!” He grins and leans in, pulling you into a warm embrace. You can feel the affection radiating from him, and it makes all your efforts worth it.

After releasing you, he walks over to the table, examining everything with childlike wonder. “You even made my favorite cake!” he exclaims, his eyes lighting up at the sight.

“Of course! You can’t celebrate a birthday without cake,” you reply, joining him at the table.

As you both sit down to enjoy the breakfast feast, Alejandro's smile never fades. The pancakes are fluffy, the fruits are fresh, and the pastries are delicious—everything feels perfect.

After a few bites, he looks up at you, his expression serious yet tender.

“Thank you for this. It means so much to me. I’m really lucky to have you in my life.”

You blush, feeling the sincerity in his words.

“I’m the lucky one. I love making you happy, especially on your special day.”

He reaches across the table, taking your hand in his, his touch warm and reassuring. “Let’s make today unforgettable,” he says with a playful glint in his eyes.

You both finish breakfast, laughter and conversation filling the room.

As the morning progresses, Alejandro’s excitement grows, and you can’t wait to reveal the rest of your plans for the day.

Later, after enjoying each other's company, you suggest going for a walk in the park to soak in the beautiful day. He eagerly agrees, and as you head out, you can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, mirroring the joy in your heart.

With Alejandro by your side, you know this birthday will be one for the books. Every smile, every laugh, every moment spent together only deepens the bond you share.
