Aria's pov
That night I had another nightmare. This one was different from the others, it wasn't of Edward or any of the Cullens, instead I was in a pool of water.
The dream started out with me in a car with a dark skinned man in the driver's seat and a light skinned, brown haired woman in the passengers. I was in the back, this wasn't like my normal dreams, it was as if I was a bystander watching. I was younger and instead of my green eyes I had a pair of brown ones that would match Bella's. Seated next to my younger self was an older girl around my current age with black hair like the drivers and brown eyes like the other me.
I took notice that me and the teenage girl were talking but I couldn't hear what was being said. It was like everything was on mute and then I saw it...
A pair of blinding lights headed straight for the car the family was in.
My viewpoint changed and I was now in the car, I was terrified, it was like the volume button was hit and turned to the max, I heard the tires squealing as the two cars collided from the side, I heard screams and noticed that one was coming from my own mouth, we were going over the edge into a lake or pond or something and then my head felt like it had been hit by a sledgehammer, I couldn't breath, every breath just made more water go into my lungs, my head felt like it would explode, I kept kicking, kept trying to push myself up but nothing was working, I was drowning, I was dying and then....
I woke up.
My father was holding me as he rocked me back and forth with Ellayla whimpering next to me. I was shaking and crying as my father tried to calm me down but I still couldn't breathe.
"Aria, it's okay, you're okay just breathe." I heard him say but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't.
"Okay, okay, um- wh-what five things can you see?"
I frantically searched my room as I gasped and cried. "I-I see...my walls...my floor...my closet door...dresser...vanity." I said between gasps of air.
"Four things you feel.'
"My...hair..." it was sticking to my wet face "fur...blanket...Daddy's arms."
"Good job." My father praised me as my breathing started to regulate. "Now three things you can hear.
"Crickets outside... Ellayla snoring" this caused him to chuckle. "Your heart beat."
"Are you okay now or should we keep going?"
I breathed deeply and relaxed against his side. "I'm okay.
"This things not working very well." he commented as he pulled the dreamcatcher, Jacob got me for my birthday down off my bed post.
I shook my head in disagreement. "It was a different nightmare." I looked away when I caught the sad look in his eyes. "Hanging out with Jake helps a lot, not just me but Bella too."
I see him smile as he places the dreamcatcher back in its rightful place. "That's good. He's a good guy."
"He is." I agree as he tucks me back in and sits in the recliner he put in the corner of my room.
Next day
Bella and I met up with Jacob again but this would be the first time we would be riding the bikes Jake fixed. Well Bella and Jacob would be driving them, but I still get to ride and that's just as fun.
Jake had kept the bikes fully covered so it was such a surprise when we pulled up to his house to see two shiny motorcycles, one red, one black with a blue bow sitting on the handlebars of each one.
