It was silent a few moments before I spoke up.

"Brooklyn, seriously. This is more than just a silly school project! I need to know what happened to my sister!" I could feel tears gathering in my eyes as well as a lump in my throat forming.

Her face went pale. She knew something I didn't. She knew someone did something to my sister. She specifically knew Sal wasn't guilty either.

"I told you I don—" She couldn't finish the sentence before I cut her off.

"Oh bullshit. Don't lie. Was it you?" My question flew out of my mouth before I could think, so i continued. "We all knew you had a thing for Sal. Plus, you hated Andie on top of that. You stopped hanging out with me after Andie died Brook—I couldn't even understand why!"

"I stopped talking to you because you're a fucking psychotic freak Felicity! You're so obsessed with these cases! Why can't you just understand how the case is closed! It's been closed for five fucking years!" She shouted at me, "Not to mention you just show up to my door step without even texting me!"

She really had the nerve to tell me I was psychotic for wondering what happened to my own sister? The same sister she's hated since middle school? It had to be her. I knew it was her. She just needed to admit it.

Eden nudged my leg and nodded towards the door causing me to nod.

"But, thanks anyway. Even though you weren't any help." I said while I was walking out.

"Oh, and Felicity? You need professional help." She spat before slamming the door in my face.

I turned to Eden, "What the fuck did she just say?"

Eden grabbed my arm, "Dunno, but let's go. Becca, probably wants you home. Or you can stay at mine again."

I sighed and walked back to the car handing eden the keys. She started the car and drove to the nearest gas station.

"Want anything?" She asked me before opening her door.

"Nope. I'll pass on gas station food, you know where that gets me." I laughed as she did the same while closing the door.

While I was sitting in the car I got a text message.

I swear I felt my heart leap out of my chest. Who the fuck could have possibly known about the case besides Brooklyn and Eden?

Eden came out with a bag of nerds gummy clusters and gummy bears in her other hand. I knew she didn't have her phone so it couldn't have been her. And I got a new number since Brooklyn and I stopped talking. That was just weird.

"Hey Ed? Did you tell anyone about the case?" I put my phone down into my pocket.

"Nope. Not a single person." She spoke while she put her seatbelt on, "Why? Something happen?"

"No, it's just uh—don't worry about it." I cleared my throat and stared out the window the whole car ride.
