The future is ever changing
Not everyone knows what they want
While others have their life already planned
When we were kids we had dreams
So many dreams
We didn't know what to pick
But that's what they are dreams
Dreams are imaginary
There just sky castles we build
We were told to give them up
So we did
Now the future looks blurry
Not knowing which way to go
Which road to take
What to do
We follow someone else's dreams
Dancing to someone else's tunes
Just like puppets on a string
Do we cut the string or keep dancing
Cutting the strings still doesn't mean you can see clearly
Often times it just means drowning
So what do we do
Keep following someone else to their dreams
Dancing to their tunes
And keeping the strings wrapped tied
Or do we break free and try to float
Try to swim instead of drowning
Keep your head up and you will learn to float
Learn to swim
Soon you'll reach your destination
Touch your castle
And achieve your dreams.
