you should have known better, you thought to yourself as you made your way back to the Slytherin common room. you had been looking for Sebastian for a little over two hours, he wasn't by the lake, he wasn't in the Undercroft and he wasn't at Crossed Wands where he he had said he would be. you had eventually given up after walking around the castle once more and you decided that you were just gonna wait in the common room until he returned. 

and you didn't have to wait long because you had just grabbed a book from the shelf and sat down on the velvet green sofa when two sets of footsteps came down the spiral staircase. when you looked up you spotted Professor Ronen who was normally very calm and collected dragging down a quite embarrassed Sebastian Sallow. 

'what has he done now?' you thought to yourself as you closed your book and put it down on the coffee table in front of you "i hope to not hear about your adventures in the forbidden section anymore Sallow, otherwise i will have to speak with the headmaster" you saw Sebastian nod while keeping his head low until the professor disappeared up the staircase once again.

he sighed before lifting his head and spotting you on the couch, a small smile appeared on his lips just as he headed towards you and plopped down next to you on the sofa. "how are you Love?" he said trying to act all innocent, but you weren't having it at all. "why were you in the restricted section?" you asked him but honestly, you weren't looking forward to hearing the anwser. 

Sebastian thought about lying for a split second but than he realized you would know that he was lying through his teeth "i was reading one of Isadora's journals that i found..." your eyes widened in shock "why?" he sighed fisgeting with his hands on his lap "trying to find  cure for Anne" he muttered. you couldn't believe it, had he not endured enough already searching for a cure? had Anne not suffered enough? "tell me you are joking? that this is a bad joke?" he shook his head. you shot up from the sofa "you cannot keep doing this Sebastian, you do not even know where Anne is and do you remember why she left? i know that you do not wan to hear it but Anne has accepted what is going to eventually happen and she is at peace with that, you are hurting her more by giving her false hope time and time again"

he shook his head, his nostrils flaring in anger, ha hadn't even tried everything yet "but i found something (Y/N). Isadora wrote about how she was able to cure a curse , maybe with the ancient magic we could cure her too" your brows furrowed, was he serious? you had already taken all the energy from the repository and that had almost killed you, now he wanted you to take in the curse Anne had without knowing what would happen? "you want me to take the curse?" it went quiet for a few seconds, he was thinking that. you scoffed and shook your head taking a few steps back "come talk to me when you have can think straight" and with that you walked away from him and up the stairs to your dorm, seething in anger.

it had been a week now, and you and Sebastian hadn't spoken yet, you didn't mind because you were sure he needed his time and you definitely needed yours as well. Ominis wasn't happy at all, he was angry at Sebastian for even thinking of the idea of you taking the curse but he was also angry with you for not seeing it from Sebastian's side.

you had just returned from Hogsmeade with Natti when Sebastian walked up to you both "could i borrow (Y/N) for a few minutes?" he asked ANtti who looked at you as if to ask if it was okay for her to go. you nodded and gave her a quick hug goodbye.

once you were alone Sebastian began to talk immediately "i realize i should have not asked you to take Anne's curse. i sincerely apologize" something you had never seen was Sebastian crying but just as he looked up to meet your eyes a tear slipped down his face followed by a few more before he wiped them away.

"Anne and i did everything together before she got sick, and i just wanted to go back to those times with her, the four of us making new memories together...i miss her, a lot, i know it is my fault she left but i do not know what to do with myself now" he explained and tears were brewing up in your eyes too. you launched forward and hugged Sebastian tightly "i will never know Anne like you and Ominis but i miss her too, but she deserves peace as well...and you do too" you felt him nod in the crook of your neck, his hold on you tightened the more you said "we will find her, and you can try and reconsile with her, but no more adventures for a so-called cure. you have done everything you can" 

once you pulled away Sebastian grabbed your hands and intertwined them "i promise, i want to apologize to Anne as well, for everything that happened and with uncle Solomon" a sad smile came over your features remembering what had happened in the tomb "and that is okay. i will be with you every step of the way"

"finally!" you both turned around to see who yelled, it was Ominis joined by Poppy and Natti who had seen the end of the conversation "this week has been horrible with how pouty you both have been, now kiss and make up. i want to go eat, it is lunch time"Ominis grumbled happy that the usually calm and happy couple had finally made up.
