I have defeated all the tower bosses. Gaia, The World Tree, should be about ready to blossom. According to the brotherhood of pyre, it'll attempt to turn everyone into pals. Pal researchers will be eager to document the event. The Syndicate don't seem to bother with it. I've been made aware of a bridge stretching from the Palpagos isles to The World Tree.

When I arrive it's not a bridge but a ferry. One large ship that travels across two large cylindrical pipes leading to Gaia.

"Excuse me sir, how much for a ride?" I ask approaching the vessel.

A slender man with a scowl on his face observes me angrily.

"How much? What a curious question, how much?" He leans into me and I can feel his warm breath on my cheek. "How much? How much? How much!" He yells throwing his hands in the air.

He gives a twirl then moves back to me rubbing the hair on his chin.

"How much you got?" He asks curiously.

Moon escapes from her sphere and approaches the man. He seems timid around her, almost afraid.

      "Lunaris, Moon, Luna!" Moon yells.

He laughs hysterically falling against the side of the ferry trying to hide his angst.

"You, haha, you think you have any power over me, haha, a little Lunaris," he says trying to regain his composure.

Moon turns her gaze toward me and I pull my pistol. The man sees me out of the corner of his eye. It's too late though.

     *Bang

A bullet rips through the man's shoulder and he screams grabbing at it.

"Shit, you barbarians, just take the damn boat," he says fleeing past me.

"Moon," Moon says with a smile as she lands beside me.

She stumbles a little and I catch her. Her cheek runs against mine and she gives me a pleasant smile.

"Come on Moon, let's go," I say turning away.

Moon grabs my wrist and pulls me close to her. She smiles and pulls my hand toward her head.

"Moon," she says like she's expecting something.

She releases my hand and I pat her head. Her face lights up and she giggles. She must have really needed my attention.

"Come on Moon, let's take this ship to Gaia and find out what's really going on here," I say stepping onto the vessel.

It's an hour or so before we reach the island Gaia rests upon, or maybe the island that rests upon Gaia. I can see Dr. PAL's lab in the distance. We begin our treck toward it and come across a field of cherry blossoms. A cool breeze blows the petals about in the wind. Is that a girl sitting on a bench?
