The art studio was set with everything Jisoo had planned for their anniversary. Canvases were arranged with an array of paints and brushes, flowers adorned the tables, and pictures of her and Chaeyoung from the past four years were hung around the room.

Jisoo wanted this night to be perfect.

She needed it to be perfect.

It was a night dedicated to their love and creativity, a night where they could create something beautiful together.

Chaeyoung, dressed in a simple white dress, looked around the studio with a smile, her eyes twinkling with excitement. Jisoo, equally eager, was in the midst of mixing paints, trying to get the perfect shade of blue for their first painting together.

"Chaeyoung, come look at this color," Jisoo signed, her hands moving with enthusiasm.

Chaeyoung walked over, nodding appreciatively. But as Jisoo stepped back to give her a better view, she knocked over the entire can of paint. It splashed up, drenching Chaeyoung in blue paint from head to toe.

Jisoo's eyes widened in horror. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, her voice rising in panic as she moved to help. But in her haste, she tripped over the paint can and fell, pulling Chaeyoung down with her into the puddle of paint.

They both lay there for a moment, Jisoo's heart pounding in her chest. She looked at Chaeyoung with fear, seeing the shock and confusion in her girlfriend's eyes.

"No, no, no." Jisoo said loudly shaking her head with fear.

Overwhelmed with embarrassment and guilt, Jisoo scrambled to her feet and ran out of the studio.

Chaeyoung sat up, watching in shock as Jisoo fled. She looked around the studio, at the flowers, the pictures, all the effort Jisoo had put into this night. The pain in her heart was mixed with confusion and worry.

Jisoo had ran all the way home, her face streaked with tears and paint. She pounded on the door, and it swung open to reveal Taeyeon. Taeyeon's expression quickly turned to one of concern as she saw Jisoo standing there, trembling.

"Jisoo, what happened?" Taeyeon asked, pulling her inside.

Jisoo collapsed into Taeyeon's arms, sobbing uncontrollably. "I ruined everything! I ruined our anniversary and I hurt Chaeyoung!"

Taeyeon held her tightly, trying to calm her down. Tiffany rushed over, her eyes wide with concern. "What happened?" she asked, her voice soothing.

Jisoo could barely get the words out through her sobs. "I spilled paint all over her...I tripped...and then I just ran away!"

Tiffany wrapped her arms around Jisoo, trying to comfort her. "It's okay, sweetie. Chaeyoung will understand. She loves you."

"Yeah, a little paint wouldn't hurt." Taeyeon reassures her.

"It went all over her!" Jisoo cried out, holding onto Taeyeon with a tight grip.

"Jisoo sweetie, Chaeyoung won't hate you or anything." Tiffany said reading her daughter's mind, it was like she knew what the girl was exactly thinking.

But Jisoo only cried harder, feeling the weight of her guilt and failure.

After a while, there was a knock on the door. Tiffany got up to answer it and found Chaeyoung standing there, still covered in paint, holding a purple stuffed bunny. Tiffany smiled softly and signed to her, "Jisoo's upstairs with Taeyeon."

Chaeyoung nodded and walked inside, making her way up the stairs. She found Jisoo lying on her bed, her back turned to Taeyeon, who looked up as Chaeyoung entered.

"Jisoo, someone's here to see you," Taeyeon said gently, before getting up to leave the room.

Jisoo turned around, her eyes puffy and red from crying. She saw Chaeyoung and sat up, her face filled with guilt. Chaeyoung walked over and sat on the bed next to her, holding out the plush bunny.

"This is for you," Chaeyoung signed, a small smile on her face.

Jisoo took the bunny, her eyes welling up with tears again. "I'm so sorry, Chaeyoung. I messed everything up."

Chaeyoung shook her head, holding Jisoo's hand. "You didn't mess up anything. Tonight was supposed to be about us, not about everything being perfect. I don't care about the paint or the mess. I care about you."

Jisoo's tears spilled over, and she broke down again. Chaeyoung pulled her into a hug, holding her tightly. They stayed like that for a while, Jisoo clinging to Chaeyoung as if she was her lifeline.

After a few moments, Chaeyoung chuckled softly. Jisoo pulled back, looking at her in surprise. "What's so funny?" she asked, sniffling.

Chaeyoung reached up and gently wiped some of the dried paint from Jisoo's lips. "You have paint everywhere," she signed with a smile.

Jisoo managed a small laugh through her tears. "So do you."

Chaeyoung leaned in and kissed her softly, their lips meeting in a tender embrace. All the tension and guilt melted away in that moment, replaced by the warmth and love they shared.

Jisoo held onto Chaeyoung, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude. "Thank you," she whispered.

Chaeyoung pulled back slightly, looking into Jisoo's eyes.

"For loving me," Jisoo signed, her hands trembling.

Chaeyoung smiled, brushing a strand of hair from Jisoo's face. "Always," she signed back.

They stayed like that for a while, holding each other and savoring the comfort of being together. Despite the mishaps and the mess, their love remained strong, and that was all that truly mattered.
