I lifted my hand slowly upwards, my fingers reaching out to trace along his features that I adored so much. His lips that I wanted to kiss every day, his eyes that I could so easily become lost in, his hair that I wished to run my fingers through day and night.

How could he have such a strong hold over my heart? When had I fallen so in love with him? When had I come to desire his feelings for me to be just as strong?

Ever so carefully, I leaned forward and pressed my lips to the photo hanging on the wall of my room.

"I love you."

--------

He was talking to that girl again, the one who was always asking him for help with her homework. I knew she had her eye on him, that she wanted him for herself. I couldn't allow that to happen.

He was mine, even if he didn't know it yet. But I knew that he would say yes to me, once I built up enough courage to confess to him.

After all, we were perfect for each other.

--------

I saw him standing there, alone for once. Maybe this would be the right time to talk to him. To tell him how I feel. I finally felt ready to tell him, I finally was ready to say those three words and hear him say them back.

I was ready to step forward until I saw her appear, running up to him and grabbing his hands. I felt something break inside when he leaned forward and kissed her. How could he? How could he betray me like this?

NO! It was her! She had seduced him! Ignoring the tears running down my face, I turned and walked away. I would take care of things, my love. Don't worry.

I'll get you back.

--------

Leaning against his chest, I ran my fingers through his hair over and over again, loving how soft it felt, how he leaned his head into each caress.

Tilting my head up to him, I gently pressed my lips against his. He was so loving towards me these days, so willing to please. And it had only taken a few months to train him.

"I'm so glad you're mine."
