The End

I watched as the planet the human race had once called home, was slowly sucked into the blackness that had been eating up the nearby solar systems for longer than most humans lived. They had tried so hard to find a way to survive, sending group after group to try and locate a planet they could cultivate and perhaps thrive upon.

A couple  of them had even succeeded in finding such places, but had no way of communicating it back in time to the people left on the planet, only able to hope a few nearby ships would hear the call sent out and join them. I simply watched on, saw the ones left behind panic and rage, unable to do anything but watch as I waited for my turn to come.

It wouldn't be that long before my own world was next. But it's okay, I was tired of being alone.
