Contest entry for Sci-Fi Challenge 21 : radio transmission
I sat in the dark room, the silence overwhelming me after what I had just heard from the radio. How was I supposed to tell them? How could I tell them when I couldn't even make myself believe it? I had heard the words through the crackling caused by the distance it had travelled. It still didn't make it any easier to believe.
So tell me, how am I supposed to tell them that the world only had another month before the comet hit? Would they even believe me when I did?
