𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐓𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐍 Nessa back to her house after the incident. He had made her a cup of coffee and sat with her on the couch, turning on a movie to calm her down. Both teenagers patiently wait for Alex to return with good news, and that it would all be over soon. She wanted nothing more than for all of this to be over.

The doorbell rang, and Scott stood up.

"I got it." Nessa told him. "Hopefully it's Alex."

Scott nodded, standing behind her as she opened the door to reveal Alex and Clay standing on her porch.

"Okay, don't freak out." Alex warned her.

"Don't start that way, and I won't." Nessa joked with the boy, pulling him into a hug.

"Monty doesn't have the pictures." Alex revealed, and Nessa's stomach dropped.

"What?" she asked.

"He lied to us, and he ditched me." Alex told his girlfriend, watching her heart break with every word that he spoke. "I'm so sorry."

Nessa sighed, holding her hand up to her head.

"I tried so hard, baby." Alex said tearfully. "I just wanted this to be okay for you and for you to never have to think about it again, to not have to be scared anymore."

"I know." Nessa said, rubbing her thumb against Alex's hand.

"And this is not our place to say." Clay spoke up from beside Alex. "I get that, and I probably shouldn't even be here, but look, it's different now."

"With those pictures out there, all of those girls need someone to stand up for them. We don't have the pictures, so we need you. And Jess." Clay encouraged her, and Nessa felt hopeful. She felt like finally, she might be able to do this.

"And we get that you're afraid that people won't believe you, or that they'll come after you, and that is so fair." Alex started. "But look at Scott."

Nessa looked over her shoulder to Scott, who was smiling back at her.

"Scott never doubted you, and neither did any of us." Alex assured her. "We just wanted you to know that we will stand by you."

"We believe you." Alex stated. "All of us."

The two boys in front of her looked back at them at Clay's car that was parked on the street. Tony was driving, and Justin was in the passenger seat. Jessica was standing against the car next to him. Zach was pressed up against the trunk, and Courntey and Ryan were in the back seat. Every single person against that car right now, was there for her.

Nessa let a tear fall down her face as she looked at them, all sending her a wave, and then at Scott behind her, who was smiling softly at her. Finally, she looked back at Alex and Clay, who had just gathered all of these people to support her.
