𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐓 a table at Monet's, across from Clay and Justin. Ever since they had come to her about the polaroids and the Clubhouse, they had been brainstorming ways to get in, and Nessa was their smoking gun into the Clubhouse.
She had never heard of it, which shocked her to her core considering who her friends were. But, Justin had never heard of it, and judging by the pictures, it doesn't exactly seem like a place that Zach would ever want her to be. So, it actually made a lot of sense as to why she had never heard of it.
Clay had texted her this morning, letting her know that he and Justin had concocted a plan. So, here they were, sitting in Monet's to discuss this genius plan.
"Look, we need to get in there." Clay told her. "We've got a plan."
"What is this genius idea?" Nessa asked, staring at both of the boys. Justin reached into his backpack and pulled out a rusty pair of bolt cutters and placed it onto the table.
"Boom." he said, a grin on his face. Nessa looked down at the tool, laughed, and then stopped because she realized this was not a joke.
"You're kidding me, right?" Nessa asked, picking up the bolt cutters. "Put this shit away."
"What? Why?" Clay asked, his face painted with concern.
"Why not just break down the door?" Nessa asked sarcastically.
"Because then the door would be broken?" Justin replied back. "You're supposed to be the smart one, Ness."
"Exactly." Nessa replied. "We have to do it without tipping anyone off that we were there."
"And we do that, how?" Clay asked. Nessa thought about it for maybe five seconds before a plan, and a person, started brewing in her head.
"Trust me, I have my ways." Nessa declared, letting herself out of the booth they were sitting at. "I'll text you guys."
Nessa walked out of Monet's and immediately sent a text to the only person who knew about the Clubhouse that she trusted, and wasn't her brother – Scott Reed.
She then dialed Alex's number, hoping that he would pick up. He did, after a few tries.
"Hello?" Alex said into the phone. "Where are you?"
"Long story short, I'm going to the Clubhouse with Scott. Don't freak out." Nessa said in one breath so that Alex wouldn't protest.
"Are you fucking crazy?" Alex whispered into the phone. "Do not go alone!"
"Alex, I have to." Nessa argued back. "This is the only way to get the rest of the pictures, we can't let them know we know."
Alex sighed, mainly because he knew that she was right. If anyone had the ability to gain the trust of the frequent users of the Clubhouse, it was his girlfriend. If anyone was going to help their group get to the bottom of this polaroid mess, it was Nessa.
