Katie's POV 1 Month Later

I was walking in the forest with an arrow notched trying to hunt down an animal for lunch. I remember Oliver saying a long time ago the best place for small animals was close to a creek or stream and that's where I was heading.

Oliver's POV

After two weeks of searching the island I found my bag by the mask I put an arrow through. It felt great to have my bow in my hand and arrows on my back. There was some food and water left in the bag and some clothes that were a little wet and smelt like salt. I found a grave for Captain Wallis too which means Katie did that. I fear that she's dead because I haven't found her yet.

I think she feels the same way.

Katie's POV

I was kneeling by the stream washing my hands after killing my lunch. There was blood all over them and the arrow I used to kill it.

Suddenly a branch cracked in front me across the stream.

I immediately notched an arrow and got into a crouching position behind a rock big enough to hide me.

I heard something get into the water or move around in the water.

I pulled back the bowstring and stood up, coming from out behind the rock.

"Stand up!" I ordered to the crouched man on the stream bed. "How did you get here? I'm supposed to be alone."

I noticed bow and arrows next to the man who was frozen to the spot.

"I said stand up!" I repeated.

The man slowly stood up and raised his head revealing his face.

"Oliver?!" My jaw dropped but my bow remained where it was with an arrow aimed at him.

"Yeah it's me. Could you lower your bow and come give me a hug?!" Oliver asked shouldering his quiver.

I sheathed my arrow and ran across the rocks on the stream. I tackled Oliver in a hug burying my face in his sweaty neck.

"I thought you were dead..." I choked out. "I thought I was going to be here all by myself."

"I'll never leave you alone..." Oliver replied.

"Well come on, I have stuff back at the plane." I pulled away and grabbed Oliver by his arm.

"You've been staying on the plane?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah that was the first thing I did. I also went up to the rock cliff. Oh I named that Lookout Rock. And I built that signal fire and buried Captain Wallis." I added as we entered the plane.

"You've been busy!" Oliver exclaimed sitting down on a box.

I tossed him some water and started cooking the bird, "We came here for a reason so I might as well make the most of it. And the satellite phone was ruined by the ocean so we're stuck here."

"Well it's not like I've done it before." Oliver murmured sarcastically.
