Katie's POV
I haven't moved from my spot on the sand as I stared at the crashing waves.
Oliver's POV
I rode my bike to the harbor and noticed Katie's parked by the marina. I slid mine next to hers and went down to the shore.
There she was standing on the sand with her hands in her jacket pockets and her dark hair blowing in the ocean breeze.
"I know what you're going to say." She said before I even opened my mouth.
"I-"
"You're going to say that it wasn't my fault and I should blame it on Martin because he's the one who pulled the trigger. We'll I'm the one who didn't pull the bowstring fast enough. I tried having a heart and tried to ration with him." Katie explained not turning around.
"Now that that's out of the way." I said putting my hands in my pockets and stood next to her. "Come home will ya?"
Katie pivoted towards the motorcycles, "Yeah I need to hit something."
"You okay?" I gently nudged her with my elbow.
"Not really. I should probably talk to Barry." She said swinging her leg over the seat and putting on her helmet.
I got on mine and started it, "You need to. Both of you need to have a heart to heart conversation."
She shook her head and sped towards the outskirts of the city. I followed her into the garage twenty minutes later and we went into the basement. She took off her shirt and I took off mine.
"Fight through the pain." I tossed her two pipes and we circled each other.
She charged me with one pipe raised and another lowered but at the ready. We began our steady motion of hitting the pipes and trying to catch each other off guard.
She swung the pipe at my side but I jumped to the side.
"You missed." I grinned.
She smirked and hit the pipe below my knee knocking me on my back.
I groaned, "Classy. Very classy."
She went to help me up but I froze in my spot.
"What?!" She asked.
I didn't speak just slightly pointed. She turned to see Barry in mid-step on the stairs.
"Oliver can we have a minute?" Barry asked coming into the basement.
Katie helped me up pushing me up the stairs.
Katie's POV
"Katie..." Barry murmured.
"You're gonna say you didn't mean it." I said grabbing my sweatshirt and putting it on.
"Well I didn't. I was angry and upset." Barry took a step closer holding out his hand.
"Upset that she chose you all along over Eddie but now both of them are gone so you can't be with her or apologize to Eddie? Yep you have every right to be." I answered taking a step back.
"Would you stop putting words in my mouth?" He demanded putting his hand back in his pocket.
"Barry you were right!" I yelled moving away from the table and towards my bow case. "Okay?! You were right! It is my fault!"
"No...it's not..." I felt him behind me as I stared at the glass case. He turned me around so I was facing him. "I was wrong..."
He pulled me into his thin strong arms and we hugged it out.
He pulled away, "So what's with the arrow head on your shoulder blade? The doctor said you were branded..."
I smiled and shook my head, "A gift from Waller. She wasn't happy when I killed Slade."
Barry shrugged, "At least it suits you. I mean arrow head."
So I guess everything is okay now.
Sort of.
