Katie's POV

I pulled into the lab garage twenty minutes later and shut off my bike. I took off my helmet and walked into the lab.

"Katie!" Caitlyn ran towards me and hugged me. "It's so good to see you!"

"It's been too long." I added when I pulled away.

"What happened to your hand?" Cisco asked turning his chair.

"Always so good to see you Cisco. What no 'Hi how have you been'?" I smiled. "And I may or may not have punched a mirror shattering it to pieces."

"What?! Why?!" Caitlyn asked as we gathered around the computers all in chairs.

"Barry and I had a difference of opinion. Well sort of." I answered rubbing my wrist. "I don't want to talk about it."

Barry walked in, "Sorry guys I had to stop by the precinct." He stopped dead as I turned in my chair. "What are YOU doing here?"

"Stopping by to see friends." I stood up abruptly and grabbed my black leather jacket and helmet. "I better go. Wouldn't want something to happen and have it be my fault."

I stormed out of the lab and into the garage. I kicked my bike to life and spun it around towards the door.

"KATIE WAIT!" I heard Barry shout behind me as he entered.

I lifted up the visor and looked at him, "What?!"

"Can we talk?" He walked closer his face full of regret.

"You wanna say you're sorry for blaming me for Iris's death? Sorry about your sudden outburst and overreacting? I know you said it out of anger and sadness but truth is Barry you were right. It was my fault and I'll have to live with it my whole life. Save your apologies for another time." I pushed the throttle and sped away.

I rode to the Central City harbor and parked my bike in the marina lot. I walked to the shore of the bay and looked out into the water. I concentrated on the sounds of the waves and of the children screaming and laughing together as they made sand castles. I watched as seagulls swooped in for the kill of tiny fish that hugged the shore closely. I didn't give a single thought to anything as I just stared at the ocean.

Oliver's POV

"Where is she?" I was leaning on a table when I asked Felicity.

It's been hours since Katie went to Star Labs to talk to her friends and I know Barry left shortly after she did.

"I'm pinging her cell phone now." Felicity replied as she did some things I never understood.

"Barry said he has no idea where she went either." I pointed out as I tried calling her cellphone again.

"Got it. She's at the Central City harbor. By the looks of it she's been there all day." Felicity said turning in her chair to face me.
