Katie's POV 2 Months Later

It's been three months since the plane crashed in the waters of Lian Yu.

Three months since Oliver died.

The satellite phone is broke from water damage so I can't even call Barry. All I know is that this island just gives me the creeps. The last time I was here I wasn't alone.

I had Max.

I miss him a lot. He always sniffed out the land mines on this island. I think we got them all to be honest.

Oliver's POV

It's been three months on Lian Yu without Katie. I don't think I've ever felt so alone. I've lived on this island for five years before but this was different. I feel this empty hole in my heart.

Katie's POV 1 Month Later

I was squatting down at the stream washing my hands from the squirrel blood when a branch cracked. I immediately grabbed my bow and aimed an arrow into space. But when I looked up I saw a man in prison clothes and short black hair. He had dark skin and he was built almost like a bear, muscular and tall.

Oliver described him as Slade Wilson.

"I must say I am impressed you survived." He said his voice raspy in an Australian accent.

I didn't hesitate any longer. The arrow flew across the creek but Slade snatched it out of the air and snapped it in half. Before I could make a move Slade charged across and threw me to the ground, knocking my quiver and my bow away from me.

I groaned and went to reach for my bow and Slade Wilson stomped on my hand. I yelped.

He grabbed my hunting knife from my waistband, "Nice knife. Mind if I use it?"

He pressed the knife to my rib cage and drew it across.

I screamed in pain.

Oliver's POV

I heard a scream.

No, it can't be.

I thought she was dead...

I heard another and I started running towards the sound.

Katie's POV

Slade had cut me twice on the ribs, along my forearm, and across my shoulder.

I screamed everytime.

"What do you want with me?!" I demanded.

"That plane was a possession of Oliver's. I was surprised to see him not survive. What a shame. You will soon join him." Slade replied.

He brought the knife down the tip resting on my chest.

I tried to reach my arrows but Slade was still pinning my wrists down with his feet.

I was going to die.

Suddenly an arrow stabbed through Slade Wilson's neck. Blood spurred from his mouth and onto my face. I pushed his dead body off of me frozen in shock. I rolled over and grabbed my bow. I notched an arrow and aimed it at the person.

I stiffened.

It was Oliver.

But I couldn't bring myself to lower it.

"Katie...it's me...it's Olly..." He murmured setting his bow against a tree.

I shook my head, "No...Oliver is dead...he..."

"Katie...it's okay...you're safe now...it's Olly..." He repeated.

I slowly lowered my bow and tried to sit up. I yelped in pain remembering the cuts on my ribs. Oliver rushed to my side and helped me sit up. He brought me into a gentle hug putting my head on his shoulder.

I quietly sobbed into his shoulder, "I thought you were dead...I thought I was going to be all alone..."

"Shhh...it's okay...I'm here now..." Oliver whispered. "I'll never leave you alone..."
