The Dare

Our lips separate when a whole jug of beer is dumped right on top of us. I let out a scream.

'' Hey dude!'' Nix yells at the immature guy.'' Hey lets get you changed.'' I nod and follow him upstairs.

I open the door of the bathroom, and to my surprise I see Em and Ryan kissing. Em's eyes grow wide when she sees me.

'' This is not what you think.'' Em says and pushes Ryan away, Ryan bites his lip. I see Nix give him a thumbs up. I began to roll my eyes at Ryan and Nix.

Embry POV

I stood in the middle of the room, sort of swaying back and forth. I see the way Nix looks at Lyric. I wonder for a second what it is like to be ''in love'' with someone. I mean we are all really young. How do we know what love is?

My stomach drops when Ryan starts walking over to me.

'' Hey, Em.'' He greets me, I return a sarcastic smile to him. I am still mad about the whole Halloween party thing.

'' Why aren't you with Angie.. Your girlfriend?'' I try to play it off that I don't care. I mean I shouldn't care. He is cute but every time I am around him I get the urge to punch him right in the nose. I stand in the perfect angle and I debate of throwing the punch.

'' What! We aren't together!'' He shouts, I roll my eyes.

'' Ya whatever.'' I walk away leaving the playboy. I saw him with Angie. She was practically shoving her tongue down his throat.

I go upstairs to Lyric's bathroom to go to bathroom. I wash my hands and stare at my reflection in the mirror. The door comes open.

'' What are you doing!'' I yell, and guess who it is. Ryan. Great! I think sarcastically.

'' A guy can't use the restroom?''

'' I was in here first.'' I say and Ryan doesn't seem to care. I open the door to leave.

'' Okay cool, not like you never seen a dude stand up and pee.'' I roll my eyes, as I walk out.

'' You have no guts.'' Ryan shouts after me. I stopped, Oh no he did not just say to that to me. I storm back in.

'' No guts! I don't have guts, just because I don't want to watch you pee!'' I shout back at him, he was so immature that it annoyed the crap out of me.

'' Your scared, of anything that puts you out of your comfort zone. Plus I bet you have never seen one,'' I could not believe the words were coming out of his mouth. I felt throw up arise in my throat. I was shocked he would say something like that to me.

'' I am not a scared. I just think its disgusting!'' I shout at him, he stands there with his arms crossed.

'' Prove your not a scaredy cat! I bet in a millon years you still wouldn't grow enough guts to kiss me.'' He says.

'' I would never, I don't have that low of dignity. Just go pee, Goodbye'' I go to reach for the door handle.

'' Yup, scaredy cat.'' He says before I was able to turn the handle. I don't know what came over me. I walked over, grabbing his face in my hands, pressing my lips to his.

What was wrong with me?

I had no idea what I was doing and what was even happening. I hear the door open up and I see Lyric and Nix standing at the door. Immediately push Ryan away. I know how bad this looks, I am sure my face is red.

'' I swear this is not what you think.'' I say.

'' You two are adorable!'' Lyric says to me.

'' We aren't together He is disgusting, plus the kiss was... a.'' I gave up on explaining I don't even know what happened. I saw his cute dimples that folded perfectly into his cheeks, with the sweet freckles spotted around the perfect edges of his face. I got taken away into the emerald eyes of his.

But I mean nothing really distracted me anyway. I try to hide the fact that he had put a spell on me. I can't admit just yet. But I will tell Lyric, I mean she is my best friend she deserves to know.

''Okay, maybe I do like him. But not that much, and he annoys me more than anything.'' I finally say to Lyric, her eyes grow big.

'' I knew it! I knew it!'' She shouts really loud. I laugh cause she jumps up and down pointing at me.
