you made my day

i haven't laughed like that in forever

the sound of your frog voice made me giggle like a little girl

even though i haven't seen you in five years

i feel like we immediately bonded

we were like identical twins across the world from each other

we caught fire flies in the moonlight

played soccer with the bats circling our heads

talked and joked our way to get slurpees 

i had fun

for the first time in a very long time

my friend

I will see you next in five years

you will be in college by then

but you will still make me laugh
