her feet stomped the ground as the thunder shook
a downpour of rain trenched her very soul with emotion
she roared with laughter
throwing her head up to the sky
as the lighting filled her eyes
her arms and legs swayed to the rythym of the dancing trees
there were raindrops on her eyelashes
filling her sight with the raw power of purity
she filled her head with the sound of a rushing storm
her hair stuck to her face and neck in an ugly manner
but somehow she had never felt more beautiful
somehow all this water flushed out her heart
and all that was left was the simple feeling of joy
pure joy
-rain dance
