Me: Hahahaha
Meiyui: why'd you have me kiss someone!
Me: it's not 'someone' it is Rolen! And he is here right now!
Rolen: hey, Hui-Ying, hi Meiyui. Ah, man it feels good for some reason being here.
Naru: *Walks in from wherever he was* what's he doing here?
Rolen: oh, you must be Mr. Davis. It is so nice to meet you, I'm Rolen. An old friend of Meiyui's, and currently (according to the book) I am Meiyui's boyfriend.
Meiyui: yea, I guess so. Your right.
Me: yep, totally! Well on with the book!
Ayami: well, me and Hui-Ying doesn't own ghost hunt!

Meiyui's POV
It had been two years since I had arrived, and things were running very smoothly. Me and Rolen had gotten caught up during the years, and were currently dating. Also, the court, and the town had gotten used to my powers and did not cower in my presence. Though they were still scared, and listened to all I said.
I looked at the wall, I was currently in my office, and there had been nothing to do all day except cleaning up my desk, which I had finished easily. I sighed and spun my chair in a 180 degrees to face the door behind me. Behind the door was my room, and I was really tempted to lock up the office and head to bed. Though being chief I wasn't allowed.
A knock on the door though, snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned back around as I replied, "Come in." The one who opened the door Osaku, another member of the court.
"Sorry, for bothering you, chief Taniyama. But, a clan in the Chinese boundaries has requested to send there next in line chief here to make peace treaty." He said after he bowing. I thought about it, "What clan is this? And who is the chief who is next in line?"
Osaku took some papers out of his brief case he had with him. He then Handed them to me, which I took and read. It had been from the Lin clan who was going to send Koujo (their next in line chief) here for a peace treaty. My eyes widened, Lin-san was to be chief of his families clan!?!?!?!?!?
I cleared my throat, "Tell them it shall be fine and that we will welcome him." And I handed back the papers. He nodded, and quickly left the room. 'Well looks like I am to meet an old friend sooner than I had wanted.' I thought, 'Well, it can't be helped!'
---Three days later---
Koujo was coming today and there were a lot of preparation. He had a guide to bring him to the court house, and his room as well. I stood, "Osaku, I want you to be with the guide. Make him impressed, show him the town on the way." Osaku left the crescent table after bowing and went on his way to the gate.
I looked at the rest of the people at the table. I was at the middle. To my left was Naokom (farthest), Kitsune (second closest), and Rolen (right next to me). Then at the right was Osaku (farthest), Margaret (second closest), and TJ (right next to me).
I was wearing a dress, my hair was straightened, and I was wearing black flats. The dress was white, fitted, and had a red floral prints on top, and on the bottom it was red, loose and wavy, and went mid thigh. Everyone else was wearing simular stuff as me, yet matched with their own powers, or aura's.
We were all waiting for the doors, but were also getting as much work possible. It was easy work and most of us finished early so we just sat and thought about what we should say about anything...... at least some were, TJ was bothering Margaret about wanting to play, and Rolen was complaining about the chairs being too hard.
The door then started to open, and everyone straightened up. Lin Koujo walked through the doors behind Osaku. I stood and Osaku sat in his seat, Lin stood in front of us. "Hello. I am the chief Taniyama Panah Meiyui. You are our guest and we shall answer any questions, and I hope you enjoy your stay." I said. Lin's eyes widened when he heard my name.
He nodded, "And I have a question. Did you use to work for a company in Japan called SPR?" I grinned, "You pay close attention, and you're very good at remembering things. But, yes. I did, until something happened and people I cared about almost got hurt. Then I came here to my father's clan, and I became chief."
The members of the court who did not know looked at me in amazement, they never thought anyone mattered to me but Rolen, and my shiki. At least I made it seem that way. Rolen stood from his chair, "I'm sorry but shouldn't TJ take Mr Lin to his room. You need your rest."
I looked to him, "Very well, but I shall not rest. Rolen, Margaret accompany me please." With that TJ left with Koujo, and Rolen plus Margaret was with me.
