Chapter 14: Oliver Davis

Me: I'M FINALLY BACK!!!!!!!

Meiyui: Yeah, good to see ya.

Naru: It took you forever though.

Me: whatever it's here just be grateful.

Ayami: true Naru. Now on with the book!!!!

Meiyui's POV

I sat on my bed, TJ wasn't back from dropping Lin to his room. I was in between Rolen's legs as we read through any and all reports for today and the past week. And last just say it's pretty boring because the only going on is the occasional spirit that got lost.

Yet, I couldn't complain. At least out loud for I am the great chief Taniyama. Strongest mortal being ever! Yada, yada, ya.

I couldn't stop the sigh from leaving my lips as I finished another stupid form. "Eh? What's wrong Mei-chan. Don't tell me you are already bored. We started only a minute ago!!!" Stated Rolen. I glared at him as he smirked my way. "Calm down, jeesh. Just thinking, and anyway. It's not my fault!!! It's boring, there is nothing to do!"

He started to laugh to which I frowned at. "Don't laugh, you try doing this every month!!" I snarled at him letting some of my demonic powers out to intimidate. He flinched, "Don't bring out he powers!!! I can't live, oxygen leaving! I see the light!!!"

I sweat dropped as he dramatically raised his hands into the air and a mysterious light shined on him. "You," I complained, "You're just impossible." He looked to me smiling and in return I gave him a scowl.

Then we heard the door to my office open and close so we looked that way, and I identified it as none other then TJ. "I'm guessing Lin-san got to his room fine?" I questioned as I stood to meet him at the door. He put his hand on his heart and bowed.

"Yes, he is right now getting settled in." He said in a British accent. I sweat dropped, "What are you doing?" He smiled, "I'm acting like a true butler, for that is really what's am."

"You are so stupid, you are a partner, a teammate. You are part of a family when you are here, jeesh. And please don't do that again, it's to weird." I replied simply.

Next thing I knew I was being hugged by Rolen and TJ as they rubbed there cheeks against mine anime crying. Stating that I had touched the heart strings. I face palmed, this idiots.

It was dinner finally and I sat at the very end of the table. Next to me on my left is TJ and Margaret, and after them is Lin Koujo. And on my right I have Rolen, and next to him are the other members of the court.

The food was already placed (courtesy of Rolen's PK) and there was food from all over. From America (TJ), China (Lin), Japan (Margaret), the UK (Rolen), Brazil (myself), etc etc etc.

The food was all the ones the people at the tables liked the best. And by the looks of it Lin was impressed.

We had small talk as we ate, though. I'm just glad it wasn't to awkward, yet Lin sometimes ask where some of the food came from, what it is, and who wanted it. Lets just say he was really confused with my choice of Brazilian food. Though once he tried some he sort of got the idea.

When we were all done with dinner we got serious, it was time to talk before desert arrived. We all knew that so we looked to Lin for his proposal. "We know the reason I am here, to get a peace treaty. Sure we have never caught yet this just to make sure, and it could probably help us all out when war breaks out. Though it may only help us out a lot with the help."

I nodded, our to villages had been in peace for many years. "Yes that is true, and the proposal is nice as well. I don't see any trouble signing off on it. Yet, does the court agree?" I watched as the the court members all put there hands up one by one.

"Then it shall be." Me and Lin stood walking towards each other to shake hands. Sealing the peace treaty. "May this hold for a thousand years to become." I said smiling. "And may we each prosper greatly." Lin said smiling as well.

We sat back down just as desert floated out. It was some lemon cake, vanilla, and marble. With some poky (courtesy of myself, and Margaret). Rolen and TJ face palmed when they saw the poky while Margaret was practically drooling, and I had stars in my eyes.

We were all done with desert and making small talk in our groups. TJ and Margaret talked, me Rolen and Lin talked, and the court members talked. "Cheif Meiyui. I have something to ask." Lin said catching everyone's attention.

I looked his way, "You may ask." He sighed, "I have talked to a friend of mine, he is the owner of a research and removal of ghost, and those with powers. He has son, Oliver Davis. His name is Martin Davis. I told him about how you guys are physics of a new understanding and he was wondering if he could send his son here see some of your powers, and how you live with all that power inside."

Naru, was my first thought. My mask broke a little and my eyes showed the tiniest bit of sadness before I hid it and said, "Of course. Tell him that he may come. Oliver and me were good friends, and if they want they could send the rest of the Japan SPR branch. It would be nice to see everyone."

I smiled and Lin did to. TJ and Margaret agreed silently, and the court just sat shocked about my answer. Rolen............. He seemed a little upset. I don't know why but who cares, I get to see old friends which will be nice.
