Enola deserved to know more about her father right?Yes.
That's why she had sent a message to her mother to meet her at their old home, ferndell hall.
They were going to talk about her father.
For the first time ever , ever.
Enola always wanted to know why her mother never spoke of her husband.
Perhaps it was just too hard for her.
"Enola?" Eudoria asked softly, walking into her old home.
Enola stood up slowly when she saw her.
"Mother..." she smiled softly and hugged her close.
Eudoria sighed softly as her daughter wrapped her arms around her body.
Eudoria pulled Enola's head to her chest and kissed her hair.
"I missed you, darling." She smiled.
Enola giggled. "I missed you too..."
They pulled apart and sat down on the couch, Enola sitting on the other side, in front of her mother.
Eudoria exhaled and flew her arms up to land on her lap.
"So.... How's that useless boy of yours?" Eudoria asked.
Enola's cheeks turned a blushing shade of red, but she smiled.
"He's not my boy, mother." Enola tilted her head at her mother with a small smile.
Eudoria smiled gently.
Eudoria would never admit it but she was so grateful for Tewkesbury.
She had never met the boy, but based on the way Enola talks about him to her in messages, she could tell that the boy loved her with all his heart.
She remembered when she used to have that kind of love...
Enola then remembered why she had asked her mother to meet her and opened her mouth to inquire.
"Mother..... can you tell me how you and father met?" Enola asked, looking down, scared of her response.
Eudoria's smile dropped and she lightly gasped.
She looked down. "Why do you wish to know?."
Enola looked up at her mother with tears now brimming in her eyes.
"He is my father...." Her voice came out quiet, cracking slightly.
"I deserve to know more about him..."
Eudoria looked up at her daughter with nothing but love.
"Enola—"
"Please mother..."
Eudoria gulped and nodded slowly.
She deserved to know more right?
I mean she had never spoken about her husband to her daughter, it was like a lost topic.
