"AMY! STOP TUGGING ON ME!" jo screamed as amy laughed.enola giggled at them as she opened the door to her home.
amy gasped and smiled brightly. "enola!" she quickly ran towards her and hugged her.
enola laughed. "hello, amy."
"you didn't tell us you were coming!" jo laughed and hugged her.
"i just... thought i'd stop by!"
jo nodded. "i'll get meg and beth."
about two hours later enola was getting ready to leave.
"goodbye enola!" amy waved.
"bye, amy!" enola smiled.
enola closed the door and began walking home.
god, tewkesbury would have a heart attack if he found out she was walking home this late instead of calling a cab.
she laughed at the thought.
it's not even that dark! nothings gonna happen—
enola was suddenly pushed into a wall.
enola groaned as she fell to the ground and grabbed her head.
the man turned her over, holding up a knife.
benjamin bennette
she kicked him in as he let out a groan.
"god dammit! you bitch." benjamin hissed.
he lifted the knife, ready to plunge it into her chest.
enola grabbed it just, struggling to keep it above her as she looked at the knife with wide eyes.
benjamin groaned, using all his strength to plunge the knife into her.
enola kicked him in the balls and he groaned, falling off of her.
enola then went to get up, panting heavily.
but he then punched her in the head, making her fall back down.
enola yelped, feeling a sudden sharp pain in her stomach.
huh?
she was so confused by the sudden pain that she didn't even realized that someone had pulled enola off of her.
"get away! get off of her!" tewkesbury yelled punching the man repeatedly.
once the man was knocked out, he quickly ran to her.
he cupped her cheeks firmly, as he looked at her with his eyes big and full of concern. a small glaze of water covering them.
"are you alright?! i was going to your home to return the flowers i got you that you left at my home and i saw you... and i—"
"t-tewkesbury..."
tewkesbury pushed her hair away from her face.
"what? what's wrong? are you hurt?" tewkesbury asked hastily.
enola swallowed. looking at the blood covering her hands as she held her stomach.
tewkesbury looked down.
no.
no.
oh no.
enola had gotten stabbed.
tewkesbury gasped, quickly putting his hands on the wound as she whimpered.
"enola..." tewkesbury whispered.
"i love you." enola said quietly.
tewkesbury shook his head. "i love you too, but you're not leaving yet, you're not going to die. im going to get you help. alright? you'll be alright." tewkesbury picked her up carefully.
a cab drove in the distance.
"cab! cab please! help!" tewkesbury yelled helplessly.
the cab stopped by them and tewkesbury quickly got in.
"bring me to 221 b-baker street, please..."
the cab took off and tewkesbury lulled enola in his arms.
he stroked her hair gently.
"enola, i need you to hold on. i-i need you to stay with me..." tewkesbury cried.
enola nodded, whimpering as the pain in her stomach grew.
tewkesbury was still putting pressure on the wound, whispering assuring words to her.
once they arrived tewkesbury got out, while cradling enola.
he quickly knocked on the door and appeared sherlock.
"tewkesb— enola?!" sherlock's eyes widened with terror.
"WHAT HAPPENED—"
"where's dr watson?!"
"john!" sherlock yelled as john came down the stairs.
john's eyes widened as he saw enola's bleeding form.
"bring her to the room!"
tewkesbury quickly brought her to the room john pointed at, laying her down gently.
"what on earth happened?!" sherlock yelled.
"benjamin!, he stabbed her."
sherlock's eyes widened with anger but they softened after another whimper of enola sounded in the room.
"enola... it's alright." tewkesbury cried.
"alright, i need you two out of the room." john said in a hurry.
"what? no!" tewkesbury said with a look of horror.
"please, i can't have you two in here, right now."
sherlock and tewkesbury hesitantly left the room.
tewkesbury sat down on sherlock's couch. and brought his hands to his head.
"if i had just been there a little bit sooner..."
"it's not your fault tewkesbury, i don't know exactly what happened, but it's not your fault." sherlock sighed.
tewkesbury just continued to sniffle as he wiped his useless tears.
and he did that till morning came.
