"YOU KNOW, LAST night was nice." I told Peter as we stood by his locker the next day. "Well, except for..."

I gestured to his chest and he nodded.

"Yeah," He chuckled. "I liked last night too. Especially the kissing."

"We should do that again sometime." I said, smiling.

"I'd love to." Peter started to lean closer to me when a low grumbling came from somewhere down the hall.

Then there was a loud roar and Peter's head snapped around.

A few seconds later, a giant lizard creature came bursting out into the hallway, and Peter immediately switched to fight mode.

"Go." He told me and I started to move backwards. "Go!"

And I ran, looking back at Peter while the rest of the students that were in the hallway all ran past me, screaming.

I turned the corner as Peter started running at the lizard and I took a deep breath.

Then I bumped into Gwen in the hallway.

"What's going on?" She asked me.

"Giant mutant lizard in the school." I told her, glancing behind me as I spoke. "Peter's... Doing his thing."

We both started to move down the hallway when I paused. I couldn't just leave Peter.

"Gwen, you go, I'll catch up." I said and she stopped to look at me.

"What? No, Y/N."

"Gwen, go."

Gwen made a face, sighed, and started to run again.

I was quick to retrace my steps and soon found one of the school's trophy cases all smashed and broken on the ground.

So I picked up one of the largest I could find and continued to run to find Peter.

I walked into one of the hallways only to find the lizard grabbing Peter by the head and forcing him against one of the windows.

So I ran up and hit him over the head with the trophy in my hands. It made him drop Peter, but his attention was on me instead.

"Y/N." The lizard said my name.

I started moving back, the trophy still in my hands, and the lizard moved one of its hands to either hit me or grab me.

I wasn't quite sure which one because the action was stopped by Peter webbing its arm and pulling it away.

I stood and watched as Peter webbed and swung his way around the lizard, covering it in webs and practically tying it up.
