Nana-Chan's POV:
The storm is still raging on as I made my way down to the docks, unsure of what I would say to Zane because I hadn't spoken to him in 2 months now.
Travis convinced me to go and that everything would be okay...even with the huge thunderstorm happening right now...it's shaking everything including the palace.
The water is rough and slamming up against the side of the ships, rocking them back and forth as I reached Captain Garroth's ship and found him outside securing everything.
"Lady Nana-Chan?" He called out to me.
"Where's Zane!" I shouted back.
"He's down by the pond! It was too dangerous for him to come back!" He called back and I started running in that direction..I didn't take Seze with me.
I didn't want to run the risk of Seze being injured during this becuase if she was injuried because I opted to go out into a storm like this, I'd never forgive myself.
The beach was almost like quicksand from the amount of rain pounding down against it and I fell a few times in the process but kept running towards the trail leading to it.
Running down the trail, I could hear the rain agains the pond and picked up my pace until I was in a full sprint towards the pond while searching for any sign of Zane.
I let out a scream when the ground gave out underneath me and I went rolling down the muddy hill and crashed into the water below...panic and dread filled my body.
I started thrashing around, trying to swim up but I only seemed to sink faster as bits of the ground caem crashing down into the water around me, a few almost hitting me.
A hand wrapped around my wrist and I was being dragged out of the water, I coughed up the bit that got into my mouth and was dragged over to the edge.
"Are you insane Nana!" I heard Zane shout, his arms wrapping around me to pull me out of the water the rest of the way and onto the shore, the mud made it a little harder to do that.
"No" I muttered, sucking in a breath.
"What are you doing out in a storm like this!" Zane shouted, pulling me up with him and starting walking in a different direction, the mud catching under my flats...and I nearly fell over.
Zane pulled me into a little cave area where he had already started a fire, I looked around and seen it was all set up just in case he needs to be here for longer then expected.
He grabbed something fromthe bin nearby and I realized it was a blanket when he wrapped it around me and kneeled down in front of me, and pushed my hair out of my face.
"I wanted to apologize" I mumbled sheepishly.
"You wanted to apologize? So you decided to go searching for me in one of the worst storms the island has ever experienced in years, because you thought that would be smart?" He said.
"In hindsight it wasn't the best idea" I mumbled.
"You think" I shoved him back, he chuckled at my reaction and put more wood on the fire, the warmth instantly ingulfed me as I started warming up a bit more.
Zane handed me some dry clothes and I thanked him, he showed me a little area around the corner and once he left I got changed out of my soaking wet clothes.
I changed into a black long sleeve dress and just dried my flats off before slipping them back on, I headed back around the corner and seen Zane sitting near the fire.
