I was surprised to see this text message when I woke up Friday morning. I saved his phone number into my contacts, and then texted him back.

To: Stiles

To: Stiles

From: Stiles

To: Stiles

I smiled. Then, I put my phone down and got out of my bed. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth before hopping into the shower. I washed up, and then got out. When I got back to my room, I went straight to my closet to pick out of my outfit. I decided on a white tee with a plaid button up. I snatched my jeans off of the floor by my bed and changed into the outfit. I slipped on my Vans, and checked my outfit in the mirror. After I was finished getting ready, I went to the kitchen. My dad was sleeping in, because Uncle Chris was taking me and Allison to school today. I opened the freezer and grabbed the waffles. I popped them into the toaster and leaned on the counter as I waited for them to be ready. A few minutes later they popped up, and I almost screamed. I hate toasters. I heard someone beep their car horn from outside, and knew it was Chris. I wrapped the waffles in a paper towel and left the house.

"Bye, dad!" I shouted before shutting the front door.

I greeted Allison and Uncle Chris once I was in the car and then began to eat my waffles. I was done with them by the time we got to the school. I said bye to Chris and then rushed into the building to try to get to talk to Stiles before homeroom. Someone grabbed my wrist and tugged me backwards.

"Where are you rushing off to?" Allison asked.

"To see Stiles," I said, trying to get her to release her death grip on my wrist.

"Why are you always talking to Stiles? Or with Stiles? Are you two dating?"

"What the- No! Absolutely not!"

"Sure seems like it. You guys did go on a date the other day."

"What are you talking about? You mean going to the diner after lacrosse practice? That was so not a date."

"It so was!"

"He loves Lydia, Allison. It's pretty obvious."

"But-"

"Plus, I don't even like him like that. He's just a friend."

"You two would be so cute together, though!"
