The taxi pulled over while the shaking was going on. Everyone being dazed and confused on what had just happened.
"Is everyone alright?"
Princeton called out,
Skye looked around the vehicle checking if everyone was okay.
"Everyone seems to be fine, but what the hell just happened? "
She responded,
Carlisle got out of the car to see if something had happened to the engine, he popped the hood and checked the engine and the battery,he shook the battery slightly just to make sure it was in place. After looking over everything carefully he shut the hood and looked around. There was nothing in sight for miles,he didn't see any cars coming from either direction of the road. finally getting back into the car he stated,
"Nothing was wrong with the vehicle.So what exactly just happened to us?"
There was silence, nobody knew what to do.
"Just keep going. "
Carlisle said,
He looked through the back window wondering if there was anything behind them.
The taxi crept out from the side of the road and they continued their ride.
Before heading to the beach Skye asked the driver,
"Can we stop in town before we head to the beach I need to pick some things up."
"Sure thing!"
The driver replied,
They pulled into town it was crowded the streets we're packed full of people. The driver looked in the backseat and asked,
"Do you guys want to get out and walk while I find a place to park?"
Everyone nodded around in decision, they exited the taxi and began to walk. Skye looked around the city in amazement at all the different kinds of stores. They continued walking, the main store that caught Skye's eye was the pet shop.
"OMG look at it, it's so cute guys!"
Skye said,
Carlisle examined the animal a bit closer. He knew that Skye's birthday was next month and he had no idea what to get her. He also knew she didn't have enough to afford the animal either.
"Babe! Look at this grey cat in the window! Look! When I put my hand on the window he puts his paw up! Baby! Please please! I want him! Aww look at his eyes! Maybe we could get him a cute hat! Hope he's not a shower cat..."
While Skye was yapping away at the appearance of the cat, she didn't realize that it was gone.
"BABE HE'S GONE!!"
Skye began to cry at the sight of the cute kitty being gone.
"I wonder why he's gone"
Carlisle grinned as he handed Skye the grey cat.
" I didn't even realize that he had white stripes! Kinda looks like a racoon... His fluffy tail has black stripes! Aww!"
Carlisle interrupted,
"So.. What we going to name him?"
Skye scratched her head as she thought,
"Jasper!"
Carlisle nodded in agreement. He helped Skye off the ground and she kissed him and ran to Princeton and Limelight showing off her new cat, Jasper. Princeton rudely said to Jasper,
"Your kinda fat."
Skye kicked Princeton as he made the rude comment about her and Carlisle new friend.
"He's not FAT! HE'S FLUFFY!"
Skye fell madly in love with cat. She held him up the way Simba was held in "The Lion King." Princeton and limelight got on their knees and bowed at the sight of brand new king of Mobulus. Jasper. (Joke lol)
"Uh! Buddy you're kinda heavy for a kitten!"
She said as she stroked his fur and pleased him with tummy rubs. Skye handed Jasper to Carlisle and she noticed that they had a strong bond already. Some reason Jasper was giving Carlisle high fives and he wouldn't stop hugging his hand.
"No fair! I want high fives! And hugs"
Skye said as she got slightly jealous. Carlisle handed Jasper to Limelight and he wrapped his arms around Skye.
"Isn't that why I am here?"
Carlisle said,
"Butt"
She as she poked his cheek.
"Okay! I don't know if I want to go to the beach with Jasper..."
Limelight said as she held Jaspers paw,
"We could go home if you like."
Skye smiled and held Jasper close as she squealed.
"But first we need to get him, nail clippers, shampoo, treats, toys,and a bed! Onward my little weirdos! Onward!"
She said pointing to the store and they all charged in grabbing the goodies for Jasper.
Once everyone got they all played with little fluffy Jasper. Finally they all went to sleep and Carlisle slept in his room and Skye was with Princeton. But Jasper laid in her daddy's arms. Carlisle's arms.
