At Last

Chapter 13: " The Fallen One"

After Asher's birth, from that day on they had Limelight watch the baby while Carlisle and Skye trained. Asher would always be in Limelights arms watching the two battle and he would always clap for them with Limelight. Years past and everyday they trained and after their training they would have family time with Asher. Asher was 6 years old, and everytime there was a battle he would always call, 'Mama! Dada!'. Today they were there training but for some reason Asher didn't say anything. Skye and Carlisle became worried after the battle and Skye and Carlisle rushed up to go see Asher.

"Babe you okay?..."

Skye said as she held him and kissed his forehead.

"Mommy I feel weird..."

Skye picked him up and held him close. Skye became more worried,

"What's wrong Ash?..."

Skye questioned him, afraid to make eye contact, she didn't want to cry in front of him.

"Mommy I feel like..."

Limelight quickly placed her hand over his heart and felt the abnormal heartbeat and said,

"God Form. Why is it hitting him at the age of 6..."

Limelight gave him a little plastic sword and he threw all the way to the other end of the arena.

"Amazing... Asher...?!"

Skye said as she was watching it fly then looked back at her son and hugged him.

"Baby you're amazing!!"

Skye told Asher as she kissed his cheek,then brought Carlisle in for a family hug. All the weapons, Princeton,Bella and Jasper went into human or cat form and then came into the hug. Suddenly the tree next to them began to shake, then in the distance thunderstorms came in just like when Loxford came. Skye looked up at the sky with confusion in her eyes,she covered Asher, Skye placed her hand on Asher's cute little mohawk, she placed her other hand on his cheek, she whispered to him,

"You look so much like your father..."

She kissed him on his forehead and gave him to Limelight so she could watch him while they go see where the storm came from. Skye and Carlisle flew up to the darkest cloud, Carlisle asked Skye,

"No way this is weather... This has to be hand made..."

Skye and Carlisle quickly went over to where all of the mayhem was at. They couldn't quite understand what was happening. Carlisle turned to Skye and asked,

"What do you think caused all of this ?"

"I don't know, but it had to be something big and strong. "

Skye said,

"It couldn't be... Could it?.."

Skye then looked at Carlisle with fear in her eyes, she glanced back at Asher and noticed Loxford holding Asher and Limelight was thrown into the outer wall of the arena.

"ASHER!!"

Skye had Princeton strapped in his carrier,she drew her sword and charged at Loxford.

"You wouldn't hit your son would you?"

Loxford said as he kicked Skye away.

"Ahhh!"

Skye was sent flying back screaming, wanting her son back from Loxford, depression filled Skye's mind. She hung her head in shame, once she was sent into the outer wall with Limelight. But then suddenly a small hand was placed on Skye's cheek. It was Asher. Skye fell onto the ground and Asher flew down to her to comfort her.

"What's wrong mommy?.."

Asher said as he hugged his mother's arm. Skye was in shock. Questioning how he got out of Loxfords grip. But what Skye and Carlisle learned was not to question they're family.

"You little rat!"

Loxford said as he charged at Skye and Asher. Then Asher made a shield that surround him and his mother. Skye was in total shock at the power that he had, he was able to lock Loxford out from getting her, Carlisle jumped into the shield. He had Jasper and Bella. The two weapons went into human form and Jasper went up to Asher.

"kitty!!!"

Asher said as he hugged Jasper. Carlisle looked at Skye and said,

"I love you so much."

Carlisle kissed Skye's cheek and her necklace began to glow. Skye became concerned and confused. She knew something was going to happen but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Carlisle grabbed Bella and Jasper and they turned back into their weapon forms. Carlisle alone charged at Loxford. He swung and tried to hit him but couldn't quite do the job. He backed up from Loxford and saw him charge up his power. He had the no element and he created a ball of energy and threw it at the barrier instead of Carlisle. Carlisle quickly teleported in front of the barrier, threw his weapons into the barrier and was hit with the blast. He dropped like a fly, he was still thinking of Skye, and she knew because her necklace wouldn't stop glowing. He was down and Skye ran over to him, almost falling every step of the way, she checked if he was breathing. He wasn't. Skye yelled,

"MY BABY!!! GOD DAMN YOU!!! I'LL KILL YOU"

Skye had tears running down her cheeks and she charged at Loxford, she activated her power. But somehow Carlisle was adding more power.
