The remake of my old book Rosewood
Evie Mikaelson is the first daughter of Niklaus Mikaelson, she was born during Mikaelson's human world making Evie nearly a thousand years old, however, she wasn't cursed with becoming a vampire like her father and the rest of her family. When she was 16 years old, years after the Mikaelson siblings fled from their home town, she was turned by her father, Klaus Mikaelson.
Even though Klaus didn't want this life for his little girl, his light, his daughter Evie wanted to never part from her family, especially her father. When she was turned, she was not only a vampire but the first Tribrid, with her father's werewolf side and her grandmother being a witch all that got passed onto Evie.
Through nearly a millennia of running, creating enemies, making a home everywhere they fled to only to run again trying to find a home they could stick to. The family, mainly Niklaus and Evie, thought they had found a home in New Orleans, especially with the surprise of an expansion of the Mikaelson family- Evie's younger sister, Hope Mikaelson.
However, it didn't last very long, with enemies constantly trying to get rid of the Original family once and for all, especially when their enemies were very close to home.
Hope's mother, Hayley Marshall gained a hatred for Klaus Mikaelson and that hatred for him trickled into Hope's mind and the two struck up deals with the worst enemies the Mikaelson's had. More so that Klaus and Evie had, as everyone knew Evie was the Great Klaus Mikaelson's true and only weakness, and despite Hope also being his daughter, Klaus was rarely there.
Hope only being a baby didn't know any of this was going on, all of this planning was from Hayley and her jealousy towards the cosy and beautiful father-daughter relationship Evie and Klaus had. Regardless of this enemies were coming and they had arrived, Evie was taken. She planned to kill Evie once and for all, knowing how much that would hurt Klaus and with jealousy bubbling in Hayley's blood she had no problem with doing this.
Klaus wasn't stupid, he was also paranoid so he immediately grabbed his oldest daughter and fled to the people he trusted most despite their past. Kol, Davina and Marcel the three of them alongside the father-daughter duo fled New Orleans with no traces to ever link back to them.
Damon, Stefan and Bonnie also joined and helped the two, as despite the history between them and Niklaus, the three never had ill feelings about Evie and during her time in Mystic Falls became friends with them.
That was 2 years ago, when they reached a small town Rosewood and they are living a beautiful human life. Evie and Klaus found a home here, as did Kol, Davina and Marcel the five of them lived together in a big house that was doused in protection spells to keep any witches from knowing this house even existed.
Klaus became the high school art teacher.
Evie became the talk of the town from the get-go, a pretty mysterious dark-haired girl. Yeah, the teenagers of the town were all over her.
Even more so when they saw that Alison and Evie were the best of friends the two seemed inseparable, to the point where people thought that Alison and Evie were friends for years. Evie would use ageing spells to make it seem she was just an ordinary human just like everyone else, that would be if she was at school but at home, her facade dropped.
During her time in Rosewood settling into the town, she was introduced to the girls Alison was friends with, and soon she felt as though she had friends for life. Alison and Evie would always be spending time together, making memories, sharing secrets and causing trouble, the two were never far from each other.
Everything was going right. Human living was something Klaus never thought would be something he would be doing as the original hybrid, however, this was it for them. This was the life he and his daughter dreamed of having and what they had fought for over a millennium.
Evie had a boyfriend, she was in high school, living a normal teenage life, with friends, going to parties and she was happy. Very happy.
Until one night, in September 2009, everything changed.
Her best friend, Alison Dilauretis was declared missing.
During that night, the girls are all hanging out together and their parents are doing whatever they do when their children aren't around when a bright flash appears in front of them.
Everyone that mattered was dropped into a room that looked like a cinema, not only was Evie, her friends and those she classed as family there but also the family Klaus and Evie fled from all of them years ago. Family reunites, Hayley's actions are brought to the surface and the supernatural is revealed, but so is Evie's life.
Her future.
A future that they will all learn to see is yet again a dangerous one.
