After we escaped the cave and the pirates, me and Jim start our way back to the Hispaniola to see if the ship really had been taken over. As we walk through the jungle, I notice Jim has yet to let go of my hand. I don't think he's noticed either. But I don't really mind.

As we near the beach, there's a sound of chanting and screams coming from a few yards away. Me and Jim exchange looks. We recognize those screams. Rizzo. We quickly run to where the sound is coming from.

We hide in a large bush and peak our heads though to see Gonzo and Rizzo tied up. A large group of pigs also crowded around. Me and Jim crawl behind Rizzo and Gonzo and untie their restraints. Jim cuts at Rizzo, while I work on Gonzo.

"Well, this is terrible! This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me." Rizzo says, standing up and walking over to Gonzo, still unaware of his ropes being untied. "Wait a second! I've been cut loose!" Rizzo exclaims, finally noticing his freedom.

"Hiya, guys." Jim says, revealing himself. I crawl around and give them a wave. They both scream and jump back.

"Oh, Jim, Y/n, they've got Captain Smollett." Gonzo whispers to us. I finish cutting the ropes, freeing him.

"We know. Come on." Jim says with a nod. "We've got to get help." I finish as we all start to stand up and sneak away.

"Oh, okay. Where will we go?" Rizzo asks.

"Back to the beach. We need to find a way to get back to the ship." I explain, maneuvering my way through the jungle, trying to avoid any strange plants or bugs.

We continue to make our way through the jungle, trying to locate the beach we had arrived on. We walk for about an hour when we finally reach our destination. Good thing, too. Rizzo's constant complaining was starting to get annoying.

The sun was just peaking over the horizon and we began to walk along the beach. Gonzo spots something up ahead and he runs towards it. Me, Jim, and Rizzo trail behind.

"Yeah, here's the boat. Oh, no!" Gonzo's shoulders slump, and we all see what he's talking about. The longboat was covered in spears, with holes all along the bottom.

"Well, that won't help us. We're gonna have to swim to the ship." Jim mutters, getting down to his knees to rest. I do the same.

"Hello! Earth to Jimbo. Swimming to a ship that's full of killer pirates to save the Captain is not a good plan." I send Rizzo a glare, as he was only further discouraging Jim.

I look back out to the waters, my eyes widening. "Look!" I point out to Mr. Arrow, rowing towards the island in a longboat.

Despite his strange situation, he was humming a catchy tune and talking to himself. "Yes. The gunwale and keel are definitely safe."

"Mr. Arrow! It's me! Jim!"

"Mr. Arrow!"

We all call out to him, and he looks around in confusion at the noise. His gaze finally lands on us. "Oh. Oh, kids. Come join me aboard this exceptionally safe little boat. Hmm."

Me and Jim slip off our boots and get in the water to help Mr. Arrows boat get to the beach. I lift up my skirt/pants to prevent it from getting wet. But give up when the water goes to my waist. I grab hold of the tip of the boat and pull it to shore with the help of Jim.

"By the way, that Silver fellow may not be trustworthy." Mr. Arrow says calmly.

"Now he tells us!" Rizzo says as he chuckles to himself.

"Are you alright, Mr. Arrow?" I question when we get Mr. Arrow safely to shore. He steps out of the boat and looks around a bit.

"Oh, yes. I'm perfectly safe. That boat there is in tip-top shape." He nods and wipes some sand from his clothes.
