Me, Gonzo, Rizzo, and Jim peak our heads over the sides of the ship. Looking out to the island.

"Look. It's the Captain." Gonzo points to the tallest point of the island, a cliff. "Oh, no!"

I squint my eyes to see the pair dangling from a rope. Captain Smollett seeming to be holding onto the pig by her ankle. "And... a pig?" I say with confusion. I look to Rizzo and Gonzo to explain.

"Long story." Gonzo says with a shrug.

I look back over, and I begin to recognize the extravagant pig. I remember the portrait of her on the Captains desk.

Jim takes out his spyglass, lifting it to his right eye. Once he's gotten a good look, Jim turns around to Mr. Arrow. "Head for those cliffs." Jim orders as he points out to where the Captain and pig are.

"Head for the cliffs, Squire."

"Aye, aye! Oh!" Squire Trelawney begins to turn the helm in every direction, leading the ship to the cliffs.

"Oh, Beakie, Beakie. Look, look! I think we're going to need a net. Come along."

The ship is steered to the cliffs. And we are almost directly under where the Captain and pig hang. Dr. Livesey and Beaker set up a large net to catch them when they fall.

"We're lowering the net now."

Me and Jim lean over the side and help straighten out the net. Gonzo gives us words of encouragement. "All right, let's go. Okay. That's it. Beautiful. Beautiful."

As soon as the net is in place, Jim goes to the front of the ship. "We're coming, Captain Smollett!"

Even from down here, I can still hear the whimpers from the lady pig.

"Just hold on a bit longer!" I call out to them. I hope my words bring a bit of relief and hope to them.

"Steady! Steady! Careful!"

The ship is now directly under the pair. And we all look up at them hopefully. The net is hung up, ready to catch them. Suddenly, the rope tying them up snaps, and they plummet through the air. They both scream and flail as they fall.

"We got him!" Jim exclaims, and everyone cheers.

They fall, and my smile quickly fades as they completely miss the net.

"Ah!"

"Oh, no!"

We all run to the bow of ship where they had ended up falling, and we nervously look over the edge.

"Waldorf, you old fool! We're heroes! We saved the pig and the frog!"

"Well, it was too late to save the movie!"

The two wooden figureheads both burst out into laughter. Captain Smollett and the lady pig safely in their arms. Both their mouths hang open in shock and whiplash, and they look around, surprised that they were still alive.

I let out a sigh of relief, and lean my head on Jim's shoulder with a small laugh.

"Welcome aboard, Captain Smollett!" Jim greets with a smile.

"And welcome to your lady pig friend!" I add, and give a wave down to the both of them.

"Look out!"

Unfortunately, the moment of celebration quickly becomes panic as the ship is heading straight for the beach. Rizzo and Gonzo both let out screams of terror.

I hold onto Jim a bit tighter as I brace myself for impact. As the ship crashes into the beach, we all stumble and fall backward.

I groan as I rub the side I had fallen on. I look up to see Jim standing in front of me, his hand extended out for me to take. "M'lady." He nodded politely. I smile, completely forgetting my aching side, and take his hand. He swiftly pulls me to my feet.
