It was another sobbing pouring day as the harsh rain fell from the sky. Aurora needs to go to school or her grades will drop. She gathered the courage to get up and get dressed. She put her hair in a messy bun, grabbed her bag, slipped some crocs on and left her quiet apartment. When she arrived at the college, she was greeted with some of her classmates from a class.

"Morning, Aurora!"

"Morning!" Aurora fakes a smile.

Aurora walked to her first class. She found her spot was taken so she decided to sit in the far back of class today. She took her supplies out and got started on writing down today's lecture.

Drake felt bored without Imani around. After they had won the case, Imani had to leave for a trip to America. And he was so bored out of his mind. He spinned around his chair until a case file fell onto his desk. He stopped and looked at the person who dropped the file.

"Someone sent you this in your mailbox section."

"I wonder who...but thanks."

"No problem."

Drake watched his co-worker leave his space area before he looked at the file. When he was rummaging through it, an item fell out. Hearing a small thunk, he went to check it which raised an eyebrow. It was a flash drive. He bent down and picked it up. He looked at it before he pushed the flash drive into his computer. Suddenly multiple files were downloading onto his hardware. He grabbed his mouse and moved it to the downloaded files. One click and tons of information flooded onto his screen.

"What the...."

Suddenly information about a certain person popped. His eyes were filled with excitement as he scored through the information. He had a cheeky grin on his face as he wrote some of the information down.

"This is gold! I can tell Imani about this when he gets back! Gosh he is going to be so proud of me!"

Drake jumped up and down in his seat like a little girl. He pulled the flash drive out from the socket and put it into his drawer. He reorganized the files before closing it and putting the rubber band back on the file. He got up from his desk and stretched.

"Well, it is time for lunch!"

Aurora was over with it. She was tired from her lectures. She strode her way out from her final lecture but that is when she saw another friend. Lucia Romano. She was another close friend of Aurora. She kinda grew up in the same neighborhood with Lucia during the time she had to go overseas with her parents but never got a chance to interact with her until highschool.

Lucia came up to Aurora and gave her a big hug. Aurora was shook about the hug but she hugged her friend back. Lucia rubbed her back before looking at her face to face.

"This is new, Luci."

"Aurora. I just want you to know that I am always here for you."

That is when the realization hit her. She knew what Luci meant by this and her heart swells up with sadden emotions. That is when she hugged her close and cried in her arms. Luci patted her back as an understanding. It felt great to cry it out, it felt so great to hold someone again and let the emotions out.

"It's okay, I am here my friend."

"It hurts...it really does...it's my fault Luci..."

"It isn't your fault Aura. Sometimes we...we just don't see it as the right time.."

"This wouldn't have happened if I didn't go to her work....I.."

"Aura. You can't blame yourself. Things happen and they would be placed into their path or fates."

"I know..." Aurora sniffles when she looks at her friend with puffy teary eyes.

Luci stops rubbing her back as she looks back at her friend with those puffy teary eyes. She had a smile that was creeping up on her face. She wiped those tears off her face.

"We have to think of the brighter side. We have detectives who are doing their hardest to catch this son of a bitch and put them into justice!"

Aurora cracks a smile.

"Yeah, you are right." sniffles "We have policies who are doing their best to catch that asshole who killed her and my co-worker!"

"Yeah!"

That cheered up Aurora quite a bit. Aurora decided to hang out with Lucia the whole day before she needed to go to work. When the time came, she said her goodbyes to Lucia and went to work. After her night shift was over, she called a taxi and went home. She paid her taxi driver before grabbing her apartment keys and went to her door. Unlocking it and pushing the door outwards to step in. She closed the door and locked it before heading to bed.

Those days weren't raining anyone which meant that the pouring rain season was over and it is time to go back to sunny dry days. Drake was rather bored at work even though he had tons of cases that were getting solved. It was his first time doing a court trial without Imani there. It felt weird not having his buddy around nowadays. But he won the case and that family was happy. He did get calls from Imani which excited him very much.

"Please tell me you won!"

"I did win, it was a very heartfelt thing to win."

"So are you coming back to Italy now?"

"No. I'm on my way to Japan. I need to check up on some things with my family.."

"Oh okay.." Drake slumps

"I can hear it in your voice. Relax, Drake. I'm only gonna be there for at least two days or so. Then I am springing out back to Italy."

"I just can't believe they made you come back to America for a court trial."

"Well what can you say, we are from America. Just working a case on for Italy murder sprees."

"Well that is true."

"Shit. I have to go. Bye Drake."

"Oh wait-"

It was silent on his end. He wanted to tell Imani about the news that he had found. But I guess it can wait for another day. With that it was another day for Aurora. She slowly started getting back into her cheery groovy mood. Aurora started hanging out with some of her classmates but sometimes they could never out beat the times she had with Ha-Eun.

Ha-Eun would always be in the back of Aurora's mind and nothing will change that. But it was time for her to get something else on her mind. She needed to keep up her happy times. And that is when she met up with her friends from a different circle.

Lucia was sitting in the cafeteria with the other people. Aurora came by and sat beside Lucia. She greeted the others with a fake smile on her face.

"Hey Aurora, how have you been?"

"I was good Luci, I just need something to keep my mind off of stuff."

"Well I have a great idea." Katerina chimed in.

"And what could that be huh?" Lucia folded her arms with a raised eyebrow up.

"Let's go clubbing!"

"Clubbing?"

"Yeah! It helps everyone get their minds off of stuff! I mean hey! We can have some partying, chill, or even do something crazy!"

"You sound crazy," Erin murmured.

"What was that Erin?" Katerina turned her head and looked at the women.

"Nothing!"

Aurora pondered into her thoughts for a bit. Katerina wasn't wrong. She kinda needs something to take her mind off of other things. But I guess going to the club doesn't hurt that much for her. Aurora looks at the group of friends and with a smile appearing on her face.

"Yeah..let's go clubbing."
