When it was a new day, Imani ignored Drake and Aurora. Drake was curious who the person was but Imani didn't dare to speak to that man at all. Aurora said her goodbyes to the two males as she headed off to school. After a few minutes, Aurora arrived at the university. Aurora barely got the notice that her first class was canceled, so it was a free period for her. Aurora was sitting around in the canteen. While she was on her phone, someone decided to sit with her. Aurora looked up to see it was Professor Niccolo. Shocked. Niccolo smiled at her and said.
"Good morning, how was your day today?"
"Oh, it's been good today. How about you professor?"
"Oh not a good start for me but I think talking to you, could make it better"
Aurora blushed as she shyly hid her face. Niccolo chuckled as he sipped his coffee. There was a small chit-chat going between the two. Niccolo checked the time then he stood up.
"Maybe we can continue our conversation later, don't you think?"
"Oh yeah of course!"
"Where shall we meet then?"
"Oh um..maybe at Giacomo Caffe?"
"Alright then, I'll see you there"
Aurora nodded her head as she watched the professor leave. She sighed before she headed to her next class. When 5 hours had passed by, classes had ended. Aurora saw Lucia and told her that she couldn't hang out with them today. As Aurora sped to the bus station. Tapping her foot waiting for the bus to arrive and when it did. She got on and waited for the street to get off. When she reached the street, she pulled the string down as it made a ding noise. At the bus stop, she and a couple of other passengers got out. Aurora walked to the cafe. Once she entered the cafe, she found a place to sit and waited for the professor to arrive.
She waited for a couple of hours before she ordered a drink and she went back to waiting. When she finally saw her professor, she couldn't help but crack a smile on her face.
"Did you order a drink already?"
"I did."
"Alright, I'll be right back then"
"Ok"
Aurora sipped on her drink as she did her best to calm her nerves down. When Niccolo came back with a drink, he sat across from Aurora. They continued the conversation they had early in the morning. Niccolo notices the woman's appearance and smiles. Niccolo may have had an interest in the young women but he still needed to put boundaries between them. But the male was feeling kinda bold and he held Aurora's hand and then started to rub her palms. Aurora felt a little uncomfortable and nervous.
Niccolo noticed he was getting multiple messages and grumbled under his breath. He let go of the female's hand and read his text messages. He let out a frustrated sigh as he stood up.
"I apologize, Aurora. But something urgent came in and I need to fix it"
"Oh I see..okay then"
Niccolo tried to hug her but she dodged it. It just didn't seem right to her.
"Don't worry, I promise. We can hang out another time, okay?"
"Okay!"
As the two said their goodbyes. Niccolo was first to leave in a rush paste. Aurora checked the time and it was almost time for work. She left the cafe and waited at the bus stop. Once the bus arrived, she got in and waited for the next stop. 30 minutes passed and Aurora got off the bus. She walked into the center. She greeted Matheo who was there already with a couple of other coworkers. She got into her work clothes before she clocked in. Work has started.
