Aurora and her friends had ordered a couple of pizzas. Erin orders a bunch of different types of beer to drink. When an hour went by, the doorbell rang and Erin got up to collect everything. After paying everything then walking to them. Setting the pizzas down then the beer. Opening one box grabbing a slice and eating it. Everyone was enjoying eating pizza and having a can of beer.
It was a pleasant time as they relaxed. Aurora grabbed another slice of pizza as she heard the sound of a pin being punched in. They all turned their head to the sound once they heard a click as the door creaked in. Drake walked in with his bags and whistled as he looked around.
"Damn..where in the hell did get the money to do this type of shit"
Drake had mumbled as he walked further in, only for him to drop his bags and look at the guest. Aurora stood up but Katerina was quicker and ran to Drake.
"Oh my god! Are you the one who got this place? If so! Who are you to Aurora?"
Drake blinked a couple of times before ignoring her and looking at Aurora.
"You must be shocked too. I'm also shocked how he got to this place too."
"Hey! Don't ignore me!"
"Okay then! It's nice to meet everyone but I need to pick a bedroom for myself"
With that Drake picked up his bags and left to find a nice bedroom for himself. Katerina was shocked that she was just ignored by the guy. Lucia held in her laughter but she did let out a snort. Katerina turned her head to look at Lucia and glared at her. She sat back down and crossed her arms.
"I can't believe he ignored me!"
"Well I would do the same"
Lucia retorted and laughed. Katerina only huffed as she went for another can of beer. Aurora sat back down as she also went for another slice of pizza.
It was starting to get late. As Drake stayed in his new room while Aurora was starting to say goodbyes to her friends. Once her friends had left, she texted them to let them know they got home safe. Aurora cleaned up the mess as Drake walked out of his bedroom. Aurora washed the plates as Drake entered the kitchen with a slice of pizza in his hand.
"So those were your friends?"
"Oh my god!"
Aurora got startled as she turned around only to be faced with a man shirtless. A blush started to creep up on her face as she grabbed a cloth and smacked him with it.
"P-Put a shirt on!"
"OW! Sorry! I will"
Drake rubbed his chest as he ate his pizza. Aurora started to calm herself down before looking at the male.
"But yes. Those were my friends, they helped me with my moving process. It was funny how you ignored my friend Katerina"
"Hm? That chick that was near me? She was rather annoying, and sounded like an old friend I used to know"
Aurora sat down on the island chair and leaned in.
"Well since we are going to be roommates, it wouldn't hurt to get to know each other"
Drake smiled.
"Yes it wouldn't at all"
"Well Mr. Detective, you already know my name and where I am from. But what about you?"
"Well, I'm from Oxford, New York. Born and raised there. I am 29 years old and I'm going to be 30 in 5 more months. I always wanted to start my own business but I didn't at all"
"How come you became a detective?"
"Well, I got into the crime world because an old pal of mine was the first to do it.."
"Did something happen?"
"Yeah..she sadly passed. We were close to each other. She was someone that I had a connection with.."
"Did you like her or something?"
"Like her? No, I loved her..she was my everything to me but yet I watched her have her life stolen. Which is why I'm still into this job. To catch her killer and end everything for good"
"I'm sorry for your loss though"
Drake chuckled.
"It's alright. I have Imani with me now"
"I'm curious about Mr.Soda. He feels rather mysterious"
"From what I know about that man is that he came from Japan. Then he moved to America and started training too. I know he's been in the police force before they directed him to the detective field. I mean he fits his role"
"If you both are from America. Why are you two here in Italy?"
"The Italian police need elite detectives here. So we picked up, well more like Imani but I became his partner so I go wherever he goes."
"Is Imani single?"
"Hmm. I don't know. I mean when I did come over and see him. He did have hickies at one point but he refused to tell me anything"
"Oh. Is Mr.Imani gay or straight? I'm sorry to ask but he looks like he eyeballs the women more"
Drake stared at the women before he burst out laughing. Aurora was rather confused as to why Drake was laughing at her. After Drake calmed down from laughing.
"Imani is far away from being straight! That man is gay to the bone! Yes, Imani comes to look like a gentleman but that is how he always is! But hell no he ain't straight! He would tell you himself"
"Good to know now. But I'm curious how he got to this place."
"Me too"
They both sat in the living room, getting to know each other a bit more. When they heard the door click, they turned their heads to Imani walking in. Imani closed and locked the door before slipping his shoes off. Imani looked up only to stare at them.
