Trattoria Trippa
The night was bustling as the lights were shimmering and many cars were out in the city of Milan. Couples were everywhere standing in line or just walking down the streets. Everyone was rather dressed well as others were overdressed.
Aurora was in line with Matheo. As for Matheo, it was a coincidence that he and Aurora were matching. He wore a black collar shirt and black pants. As for his hair, it was just slightly parted. Matheo didn't get the chance to see who dropped Aurora off since the car drove off as he held Aurora's hand. As the line was moving up, so was Drake who was 4 people behind them.
Drake had his hands in his pockets as he looked around. Once he stopped, he glanced at Aurora.
While Aurora and Matheo were inside the restaurant. Matheo pulled her chair out and Aurora sat down. Matheo pushed the chair for her before sitting down across from her. A waiter came by and set the menu down and walked away. Aurora opened the menu as she looked through it.
"Everything looks rather tasty"
"Indeed"
As the waiter came back, he opened his notepad and smiled.
"How can I get you started with your lovely night?"
"Can we get a glass of your finest red wine"
"Of course sir, as for dinner what are we having tonight?"
Matheo gestured for Aurora to go first. Aurora looked at the menu once more.
"Can I get your Vitello Tonnato Buonissimo?"
"Of course. How about you sir?"
"Can I get your Tortelli"
"Of course. Are we looking for any desserts too?"
"Oh! I would like your Tiramisu and Zabaione AL Caffe please!"
"I'll just have a Tiramisu"
"Alright! I'll bring your wine first"
The waiter said as he walked off. Aurora looked around for Drake sitting near them. Drake ordered his food. Aurora couldn't believe it, but Drake looked really good in her eyes.
The waiter came with their wine glasses and then poured the wine into the glasses. Aurora and Matheo thanked the waiter. Matheo did a small cheer as he sipped his wine. Aurora also took a sip.
"Mhm! This is rather tasty"
"Indeed"
"You have an eye for your wine huh?"
Matheo had a small blush and nod. Aurora giggled as she took another sip of her wine. Matheo had a smile appearing on his face as the two started to chit-chat. Drake looked at the two. Their waiter came by with their food and walked off. Aurora took a bite into her meal and she was in awe.
"So yummy!"
Matheo smiled as he took a bite of his meal. The two were enjoying their meal together. Matheo was happy to let her have a piece of his meal if she wanted. Aurora refused Matheo's dinner. Once dessert had arrived, she was in heaven. She started with her Tiramisu which just melted right into her mouth. The two had already finished their wine. Aurora finished her Tiramisu before eating her second dessert. If there was a rating she would come back to this place just for the desserts!
Matheo enjoyed his time with Aurora. When the check came in, Matheo paid for it. Aurora cleaned her mouth before getting up. Matheo stood up also and held his arm out for her to hold but she refused.
Matheo and Aurora had reached the parking lot. Matheo looked at the person who he liked the most and tried to hold her hand.
"Aurora...I really would like you to be my girlfriend...I like you so much"
"Matheo.."
"Look! I know...I'll wait for your answer! Just please think about okay?"
"I won't Matheo, I just do not see you as a boyfriend, a friend, and a co-worker only."
"You wouldn't even think about it."
"I've made myself clear from the start, I was just being nice enough to come on this date for you, so you would notice while we talked that we are not compatible."
"Don't be a bitch Aurora, I would give my all to you. Let me protect you and love you"
Matheo grabs her wrist
"Matheo, let go. You are squeezing my wrist."
"AURORA, PLEASE BE MY GIRLFRIEND!!"
"Matheo stop it! Let go of me"
Drake saw everything and walked towards them. Grabbing Matheo's arm.
"She told you to let go, why won't you listen?"
"Who the hell are you? This is none of your problems"
"I'm a nobody, but I can hear her say she's hurting and wants you to let go"
Drake throws Matheo's arm.
"Alright fine, see you at work Aurora," Matheo said angrily.
Drake looked at Aurora and grabbed her hand. The two walked to the car and drove off.
"Are you alright, Aurora?"
"Yes, I'm fine, thanks"
Drake stopped at a gas station. He walked instead and bought two ice creams. One for Aurora and him. They both ate in the car with a smile on their faces. Then, started to head home. Drake played music. That's when Aurora started singing and Drake joined her in singing and laughed.
Once they reached home, they walked through and headed to their designated rooms. Aurora felt safe with Drake by her side. It felt like she was protected.
