Crazy Cat Cafe
Aurora sipped her lavender latte as Luci stared at her. A waitress came by and set the drinks down for the other.
"Here is your lemonade with lavender and here's your latte macchiato. Your food will be almost done"
"Thank you"
The waitress has left, leaving Aurora, Lucia, and Katerina sitting there with their drinks.
"So..these detectives put you under witness protection and now you're moving in with them?"
"Yes"
"Jesus fucking Christ Aurora! Who do you have coming after you?"
"I...I don't know actually.."
Lucia groaned as she sipped her lemonade. Katerina sipped her drink and looked at them. The waitress had come back and set their food down before leaving again.
"So are we just helping you pack up?"
"Yeah pretty much"
Katerina nodded her head. The girls enjoyed their time before paying and leaving the cafe. As they entered Lucia's car and headed to Aurora's apartment. Once they had arrived there, Aurora was the first to get out and run straight to her apartment door. She unlocked it and headed straight to Ha-Eun's bedroom. She walked in and looked around. She started to pack some of Ha-Eun's belongings that were left for her to keep. Taping it up before heading to her bedroom. Luci and Katerina were busy packing her silverware and other kitchen stuff to take.
Aurora packed everything that was in her bedroom. She saw her portrait of Ha-Eun and their friends. She smiles at the picture before putting it away with the other stuff. Aurora picked up a couple of taped-up boxes before carrying them to the door. Lucia looked at the boxes that were placed at the door. She blinked before looking back at Aurora.
"Girl. I don't think all of those boxes are gonna fit my car"
"We can come back later today"
"Honey, we can make it fit. I'll call Erin to come and help us."
Katerina lifted her phone and called Erin. Aurora smiled at Luci who only rolled her eyes. Luci picked up a few boxes before following Katerina outside while she was on the found. Aurora picked up some before following her. Luci set the boxes down before popping her trunk up. She set the boxes inside her trunk as Aurora set a few inside the backseat of the car. Hearing a honk coming by. Erin pulled in with his truck as he parked then jumped out of his truck.
"Are we moving?"
"I am. I'm going to move in with a couple of roommates now"
"Cool. Do we know them?"
"You guys don't but I do. Don't worry, I'll be fine"
"Alright. We move some boxes and furniture too?"
"Not really on the furniture, I'll probably come back for them if needed at the new apartment."
"You got it."
Erin walked into Aurora's apartment and picked up boxes before heading off to his truck. Katerina helped out with the last few boxes. Aurora and Luci picked up the TV and carried it to Erin's truck. Erin opened the backseat door. The two put the TV inside before walking back in.
Another hour had passed by and the team had gotten everything out. Aurora spoke to her landlord and even called her boss so that she would come in a little late. Erin was busy hooking everything down before he jumped down and then closed the back. Clapping his hands together to get rid of the dust.
"Alright, ready to go"
"Okay. Just follow Lucia."
"Alright!"
Erin got into his truck and Katerina joined him. Lucia got into her car as for Aurora. She went back into her old apartment and looked around. She made a lot of memories and now it's time to say goodbye. Aurora smiles before walking to the door.
"Goodbye old home"
Leaving the key with the landlord and then heading to Lucia's car. She entered the passenger side. Aurora put the address into the GPS and Lucia drove to the place. Erin followed behind her.
A few minutes passed by as they looked around for a parking spot. Lucia parked as Erin parked on the side. Lucia looked at her.
"Are you sure this is the place?"
"Uhhh" Aurora looked down at her phone then looked back up to her.
"Yeah"
Aurora and Lucia got out of their car, the same for Erin and Katerina. Katerina ran up to Aurora with glee in her eyes.
"Oh my god! Aurora, we have to see these fine men! They have money!"
"Um no. They're working at the moment."
"It's such a beautiful penthouse though!"
"Um...They said it was supposed to be an apartment.."
"Who cares!"
Aurora walked up to the door and knocked. Erin and the others waited behind her with curiosity. Hearing the click as the door unlocked. Aurora pushed the door open and peeked her head in.
"Hello?"
"Eek!"
"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. I'm talking through the camera speaker. I unlocked the door for you."
"Oh thank you"
With that, Aurora and her friends got started on putting everything inside the place.
"Such simple colors! Oh, the modern gray marble counters! Eek you even have an island here!"
While Katerina was exploring the whole place. Aurora and Erin set the small sofa in a bedroom. The bedroom was rather plain and simple. With gold lining around the edges of the bed. Aurora placed the small sofa in the middle. Lucia carried the dresser with Katerina and placed it in the middle.
"This place is beautiful, Aurora! I even saw the backyard and it has beanbags! An outdoor kitchen and even a jacuzzi! I feel like I'm in heaven!"
"Well, this isn't your place."
"I know but imagine all of the parties here!"
"Yeah no. No parties with my new roommates okay"
"Ugh! No fair!"
Lucia and Erin came in with the TV and set her TV on the dresser. Helping unpack everything while Aurora fixed up her TV. Katerina squealed that Aurora's walk-in closet was big. Aurora just laughed it off as she put everything in place.
After another hour had passed by. Everyone was dead beat tired. Aurora called into work that she wouldn't be able to make it. As everyone sat in the living room. She turned her head and smiled at her friends.
"Dinner?"
