I entered the Hospital Wing just to catch Madam Pomfrey shouting nonsense. "You should have come straight to me!" she was raging on as she held onto Harry's limp arm in her hands, "I can mend bones in a second... but growing them back-"
"You'll be able to, won't you?" Harry asked. A desperate tone sounding in his voice.
"I'll be able to, certainly... but it will be painful." Madam Pomfrey answered grimly, tossing a pair of pajamas towards Harry. "You'll have to stay the night."
"Stay the night?" I squeezed myself between both Hermione and Ron, "And that Professor Douchebag claimed he knew exactly what to do." Hermione was waiting outside the drawn curtain with me as Ron was on the other side helping Harry put on his pajamas.
"Language, Melody." Madam Pomfrey scolded me, placing her finger against her lips, "Did you forget these walls have ears?"
"I doubt my father'll care what I call that man." I shrugged.
Hermione was standing outside the curtain, patiently waiting for the boys to open it as she acted as if she didn't hear what I called Lockhart.
"How could you stick up for the man now, Hermione?" I nudged her arm, "Eh?"
"Yeah." Ron called from behind the curtain, "If Harry wanted a de-boning, he would've just asked."
"Anyone can make a mistake." Hermione answered confidently, "And it doesn't hurt anymore, does it, Harry?"
"No," Harry answered, "but it doesn't do anything else, either." As Harry swung himself onto the bed, his arm was flapping pointlessly. Hermione and I came around the curtain, with Madam Pomfrey following behind us while holding a large bottle of something labelled 'Skele-Gro'. I cringed at the very sight of the bottle. Narcissa once had to feed that bottle to me after a poor magical aftermath between Draco and I when I was four. To this day, I still haven't a single clue what the heck we did to have to resort to the bottle... but I certainly did not forget about the Skele-Gro.
"You're in for quite the rough night," I told Harry as Madam Pomfrey poured out a steaming beakerful of Skele-Gro before handing it to him.
"Regrowing bones is a nasty business." Madam Pomfrey spoke. Harry's face certainly said he wouldn't forget the Skele-Gro, much like I hadn't, after taking the drink- which made him cough and splutter. Still mumbling about dangerous sports and certain teachers, Madam Pomfrey retreated. Leaving Ron, Hermione, and I to help Harry gulp down some water.
"We won, though." Ron said with a grin spreading across his face. "That was some catch you made. Malfoy's face... he looked about ready to kill!"
'He was pretty amused as Harry carried himself off the field," I mentioned, "Still pretty sure Harry only caught the Snitch out of pure luck. Nothing else."
"I just want to know how he managed to fix that Bludger." Hermione said darkly.
"We'll just add that to the list of questions for after we've taken the Polyjuice Potion." Harry answered, sinking back into his pillows, "I sure do hope it tastes better than this stuff..."
"If it's got bits of Slytherins in it? You've got to be joking." spoke out Ron.
"Hey!" I gave Ron a small nudge.
"Sorry Melody, but you've got to admit-"
The door of the hospital wing burst open, silencing Ron quickly. The rest of the Gryffindor team had arrived to see Harry, all while being filthy and soaking wet. I sank myself to the floor next to Harry's bed, hiding from everyone. Why would a Slytherin want to celebrate with them right now anyway?
