"Lily would be so proud of you." was a quote that has been playing around in my head the very second I had woken up Sunday morning. Still in the Hospital Wing, where I was left with Harry, I couldn't help but notice a cool sunlight shining in through the dormitory window. Harry had been sitting up on the bed next to me, his eyes staying focused on Colin's bed. Or of what we remember was Colin's bed; as the bed itself had been blocked from view with the same high curtains I remembered Harry using yesterday to change. Seeing that the two of us were awake, Madam Pomfrey came right over holding onto a couple of breakfast trays before bending and stretching Harry's arm and fingers.
"All in order," She responded, "It wasn't that worrisome of a process, Melody. You didn't have to stay for the entire night last-"
"I wanted to do it." I told her, "Obviously, Dumbledore didn't care." Harry was struggling as he tried to feed himself porridge lefthanded, but I found myself pushing my tray away from myself.
"When you finish eating, you may leave." Madam Pomfrey told the both of us. She turned to face just myself as she quietly added, "Make sure you let your father see you today... So, he knows you're alright." Trust me. He knows. He always knows. My father is what you could say a bit over-protective... It's always been that way, since I was a young kid. Although there's nothing more over-protective than a combination of my father and Lucius'. I'd be quite surprised if the two of them didn't find a way to converse about my whereabouts last night, even if just for a split second.
As soon as Harry finished his breakfast, we both separated behind separate dividers to dress quickly before we both headed out of the Hospital Wing. I followed Harry as far as the stairs towards Gryffindor Tower before I came to a sudden halt. Harry was desperate to tell both Ron and Hermione about Colin Creevey and Dobby, but I had someone else in mind to find this morning.
"You go ahead!" I shouted out.
"What?" Harry turned around, "C'mon, Melody. I won't tell."
"There's something I have to do." I replied, "I almost forgot until now. I'll find you guys in a bit." I shooed my hand towards Harry until he headed back up to Gryffindor Tower before turning back around and heading down to the dungeons.

Entering the hallway towards the Slytherin Common Room, I was too busy searching around for if Draco was lingering around that I never saw my father blocking me from the common room doors.
"She's risen." He spoke towards me.
"I just wanted to-"
"I know." He put his hand up, "Dumbledore informed me. Lucius was asking for you, Melody."
"I'll send a letter with Ares as soon as I can." I shot my father a thumbs up, "Speaking of Malfoys...?"
"Shouldn't you be heading towards The Great Hall?"
"I was just-"
"Everyone's there for breakfast. You should've-"
"You aren't there." I gave off a smirk, but my father did not even look slightly amused by my answer. I noticed Draco's white-blonde hair appear behind my father and gestured for him to come over with my eyes. "Speaking of people who aren't in The Great Hall..." I smiled at my father as Draco came up from behind.
"Melody." He bowed his head towards me before taking notice of my father, "Professor."
"You could call him Sev." I lightheartedly shoved Draco towards the side, "Pretty sure this Professor used to change your diapers."
