Chapter 3-1-1: Someone, Scratch Me!

***Deserted Island - Cave***C.C. POV: "Ahh, what a crisp, clear morning. There's nothing quite like waking up to the sound of birdsong." Appa say happily while the others just stay silent. "Did everyone sleep well?" Appa asks. "Absolutely not!" everyone else replies immediately. I never slept in the first place. "Gracious! You've all got bags under your eyes. Are you the types who have trouble sleeping when you have a different pillow?" Appa asks. "That ain't the issue." Floyd says.

"Hm? Then what is?" Appa asks. "The mosquitos, dude!" Floyd replies. "Seriously. They were buzzin' around us all night long, nonstop. They're loud, annoying, and bite you all over and make you itch! How can anyone sleep with that?!" Ace asks in annoyance. "My arms are itchy." Bubba complains. "One got me on the forehead. It's embarrassing having a bite in such a glaringly obvious place." Jack says sheepishly.

"My back itches, but my legs can't reach that far. Someone scratch me!" Grim begs. Stitch approaches him with his claws out. "Not you, Stitch! Your claws are scary!" Grim says when he sees Stitch approach. "Sealie was goin' on about some big bug yesterday, but these mosquitos are way worse if you ask me. I ain't never gotten bit this much before. This itching is annoyin' the daylights outta me!" Floyd complains.

"I can't keep a magic barrier up while I'm sleeping. What I wouldn't give for an itch-relief potion right about now..." Azul mumbles. "Come, now. Why would all of you kick up such a fuss over a few bugs?" Appa asks. "How are YOU fine with them, Lilia? Do bugs not bite fae?" Riddle asks in return. "No, they do. And the bites are QUITE itchy. But you can sleep through it as long as you've got the right mindset." Appa replies.

"Somehow I doubt trying to tough it out will actually help us get any shut-eye." Ace says irritatedly. "If we keep missing out on sleep, we're not gonna be good for much at all." Jack sighs. "It's true. Not to mention..." Azul starts before Stitch's demeanor changes completely and goes back into defensive mode. "Whoa! It's Gantu's robots!" Grim observes.

"I bet they're looking around for Stitch...We're supposed to bust those up and use 'em to fix the spaceship, right?" Ace asks. "Indeed we are! Come, everyone, let's get in a bit of morning exercise." Appa says. I join the fight while Nightmare Fredbear stays powered off.
