"Hey, hold up!" Ace interrupts. "Hm?" Floyd asks. "I've been thinking about something since we all went fishing...There should be some around here..." Ace says before looking around the back of the Bungalow. "What are you looking for behind the house, Ace?" Riddle asks while Stitch looks confused. "Aha! This should work nicely! Ta-dah! Check it out!" Ace exclaims while holding a wooden plank. "It's a big wooden plank." Floyd says unamused. "All that fuss over a plank? I thought you were lookin' for somethin' cool." Grim says in disappointment.
"Not so fast. I'll use a little magic to reshape the board and give it some rad coloring...Bam, done." Ace says after turning the plank into....a surfboard? "Stitch wants to surf but cannot swim." Stitch states. "Is this...a surfboard?" Jack asks. "Got it in one! Ever since Stitch fell in the ocean, I've been thinking he could use something bigger than a kickboard to help him. This should be big enough for you to feel safe on, right?" Ace asks, Stitch nods happily in reply before climbing on Ace's shoulders. "Whoa, geez. You're that happy, huh? Ahaha, you don't have to hug me—OW, OWww! Watch the claws! You're digging into my shoulder!" Ace exclaims in pain.
"Are you suggesting we go surfing with Stitch? That would let him have fun in the water without really having to come into contact with it. What a fine idea." Riddle says. "Surfing! That's what all the youths love doing on the beach, right?! I've always thought it sounded like fun! I'd love to give it a whirl." Appa says happily. "That's the thing where you ride waves on a board, right? It sounds nice 'n challenging, unlike swimming. I'd be down to give it a shot." Floyd states. "I have been rather curious about this popular form of recreation ever since I saw people surfing in the Sunshine Lands." Azul says. "If it's popular, I wanna do it! Then people will be fawnin' all over me once I get super good." Grim states.
"I'd love to try surfing!" Bubba says. "I'll be with Bubba, I don't think I could control my own surfboard." I say and Bubba nods. "All right, let's make ourselves some surfboards." Jack says. "There should be plenty of spare lumber behind the bungalow that would suit our purpose." Riddle says as Jack gets some more lumber. "Use a little magic to dry out the paint, and... I think that should do it." Ace says while people start finishing their surfboards. "I'm done, too." Jack states. "You said you were gonna draw on yours, right? What design did you end up going with?" Ace asks. "Fish and birds." Jack replies.
"Whoa, they look like they might jump off your board at any second... All that energy and movement is definitely your vibe." Ace complements. "Don't go starin' at it. What'd you put on yours?" Jack asks. "A beach and palm trees! How's it look?" Ace asks happily. "As much as I can't stand that insufferable look on your face...it's good. Not bad composition for a quick sketch. You really are pointlessly talented." Jack says. "Hey. I resent that "pointless" part." Ace says unhappily. "Heh heh. Neither of your boards is half as cool as the one I made!" Grim exclaims.
"Check THIS out! I drew a tuna can!" Grim exclaims while showing off his board, which has lots of paw prints and a tuna can. "...Are those paw prints? Did you draw this with your paws instead of a brush?" Jack asks. "You can see where you walked all over it, too... Ahaha, an authentic Grim-print! That's great!" Ace exclaims in laughter. "Yeah, see? You think so too, right, Yuu?" Grim asks. "It's a nice drawing." Bubba states. "Heh heh, I know. It's 'cause I made the tuna can super duper shiny. I call this the Turbo Tunaboard Deluxe!" Grim exclaims. "Is everyone ready?" Appa asks.
"Stitch, you ride with one of us. We wouldn't want you by yourself in case you fall." Riddle states. "Yaaaay!" Stitch exclaims happily. "The waves are just the right height for practicing. Not too big, and not too small." Azul comments. "Maybe we'll luck out and get some big ones. This is gonna rule." Floyd says happily. "Floyd, watch it! Diving right in like that will splash Stitch! And humans are supposed to do warm-up exercises before swimming—" Riddle starts. "Don't worry about it! I'll show you guys how it's done. Watch and learn! Just thinkin' about standin' on top of the waves is exciting. I'd never get to do somethin' like this in mer-form. It sounds hard, but I'll get the hang of it in no time. Surf's up!" Floyd interrupts while running into the ocean.
"Floyd's already getting some distance from shore. We wouldn't want to get left in his wake! Let's be off, shall we? It's time to catch some waves!" Appa exclaims happily while chasing after Floyd with Stitch. The group follows while Stitch jumps from board to board, and me and Bubba surf together.
