Chapter 3-4-2: I Caught a Big One

***Deserted Island - Sea***

C.C. POV:

"There's tons of different kinds of fish around here. I ain't never seen any of these back home." Floyd states while I play in the water. "Myahahaha, I caught a big one!" Grim exclaims while holding a big fish. "Nice! You really are like a little seal. Meanwhile..." Floyd trails off while looking over at Ace, who's struggling. "*huff* *pant* Ugh, these fish are too fast... I'm never gonna catch one!" Ace exclaims in defeat. "You're not reachin' out far enough, Crabby. How many times do I gotta tell ya?" Floyd asks. "Easier said than done when I gotta keep bending my arms to stay afloat!" Ace exclaims in defense. "Remember when you got grief for havin' bad form during shooting practice? Sea Snake kept tryin' to correct you, but you wouldn't fix anything, so I showed you myself. Have you forgotten already?" Floyd asks.

"How is it you have a perfect memory for stuff like THAT?" Ace asks in return. "How's it goin' on your end, Shrimpy? Catchin' anything yet?" Floyd asks. "I'm getting the hang of it." Bubba says while catching a fish. "Oh hey, nice goin'. Guess I'm a pretty awesome teacher, huh?" Floyd says happily. "Are you kidding? Am I seriously the only guy here who can't do what Floyd's describing?" Ace complains while I swim over to Stitch on his kickboard. "Stitch is lookin' right at home on that board." Floyd states. "No kidding! Him making a kickboard is the last thing I expected." Ace states in agreement while I push Stitch around on the kickboard. "Oh, that's what those are called? What're they used for?" Floyd asks.

"I guess merfolk wouldn't ever need them...They're for learning to swim. You hold onto them to help you float so you can just focus on kicking your legs." Ace explains. "Huh, so it's hard for you to use your arms and legs at the same time? Seems to me like walkin' on the ground is a lot harder. But that explains why your arms get all funky underwater, Crabby." Floyd says. "Someone's swimming up to us..." Ace mumbles. "Floyd!" Azul calls out while swimming up to us. "'Sup, Azul. Gettin' a good haul?" Floyd asks. "We have bigger concerns! We're under attack!" Azul exclaims.
