Playing As the world caves in by Sarah Cothran

I want the love I deserve.

His last sentence ended in tears, flooding down his cheeks as he tried to erase the embarrassment that set in his stomach. The embarrassment. The thought that he was a disgusting. He was a slut. For them to move away from though he still craves touch so much, to be held and hugged. He wanted to feel love. He was scared they'd yell at him for his disgusting actions.

But none of that happened. Because two seconds after he had closed his mouth, he was crushed by several other bodies. He gasped, swirling his head to look at each face that stared up at him. Nothing like Pity, or disgust.

Something akin to deep sadness, as if they cared. Chan was on his left with Jisung below him. His face was soft as he brought a hand to stroke at his new hair. Jisung hand clenched around the fabric of his shirt, for the first time since Chans secret, frowning with emotion in his eyes.

Felix and Seungmin were on his right, the brunette uncharacteristically blinking away at were eyes and leaning closer into him. The blond had his hand in his, stroking the back of his hand comfortingly.

Changbin and Jeongin were perched on both of his knees, Jeongin's arms around his chest as he chewed sadly on his lips. Changbin looked almost angry for him, the only one whose brows were furrowed in not only sadness but anger.

Lastly, he looked up to see Minho staring back at him, slumped over his back with his arms around his shoulders. He looked almost pained, squeezing him gently as he brought a hand to wipe at Hyunjin's slow tears.

Oh.

What is this?

What?

After taking another Quick Look around the room he gathered what was happening.

Affection.

True unfiltered affection.

Care.

True fond love.

The one i so desperately wanted.

Oh.

He thought he was all cried out but apparently he was wrong as a massive wave overcome and he was wailing in hysterics as they hold him as he sobbed his broken little heart out.

Was it weird he didn't feel embarrassed anymore to cry like this In front of them?

Their touch wasn't burning to his skin, a soothing touch as they held him. Like he was fragile. But not fragile like the flower people had called him.

Fragile like a bomb. He was such.

Two different hands were on his cheeks, wiping his own tears as he laid his head on the shoulder of Seungmin. Jeongin and Changbin wiped at his cheeks, not minding the mess of tears, snot and dribble he was.

His heart raced as he began to choke around swallowed sobs, trying to catch his breath as chan moved to stroke his hair.

"Jinnie." His voice was quiet as Hyunjin pressed his lips together. "We won't leave you alone ever again."

Hyunjin's eyes sparkled as he looked around at the others who looked at him back.

"We won't let anyone hurt you. Not while we are here." Jisung offered him a small smile, moving to clasp his hand, squeezing it.
