The next day, I worked on three survival kits shrunk down to carry with us. First, I made up a food survival pack of: spices (salt, black pepper, basil, bay leaves, powdered garlic, powdered onion), some dry foods (nuts, dry berries, dried mushrooms, beef jerky, granola bars, tea bags, dry spaghetti noodles, small bag of rice, flour, chicken bullion), a couple long baguettes broken in halves. Severus will carry this one in his bag. You know it's because we could get stuck somewhere without food. I shrank down what I could of course.

Second, I made up a medical survival kit incase of injury. I had one to six vials of each potion, paste, vials, ect.: Blood Replenishing Potion(3), Dittany(1), Skelle-gro(2), Murtlap Essence(1), Bezoars(2), Antidote for Uncommon Poisons(1), Wound Cleaning Solution(6), Bruise Paste(1), Burn-Healing Paste(1), Cough Potion(2), Pepperup Potion(6), Strengthening Solution(3), Invigoration Draught(3), Girding Potion(3), Reviving Potion(1), Restorative Potion(3), Replenishing Potion(3), Draught of Peace(1), Calming Draught(3), Sleep Draught(3), Felix Felicis(3), Veritaserum(1). It's like a mini medicine cabinet. You can't shrink it down though.

Third, a shrinkable shelter survival kit containing, (a tent, three folding chairs, three folding cots, two folding table, two lanterns, 3 blankets/pillows, a raft with poles, a hibachi grill with a bag of charcoal, a skillet, pot, set of three plastic plates/glasses, silverware utensils, butcher knife, swiss army knife, a fishing net, deck of cards). I learned a lot from Hermione in the book about packing to survive.

Sirius messaged me back that he would be here on Wednesday night. Everything was set to go.

Thursday morning had arrived. I threw my hair up in a braided ponytail and dressed in my blue jeans, a red t-shirt, my hiking boots, sunglasses and my jean jacket for the journey.

I cast waterproofing spells on and expansion spells on all my bags. I packed in a duffle bag six t-shirts, six underwear sets, six pairs of socks, four pairs of jeans, my personal items, and towels/washcloths and dirty clothes bag. I shrank it down and put it in my backpack along with my shrunken broom, my medical a survival kit, a wrapped up port key to home(an old hair brush), and a few maps of Europe, my magical money bag with £12k(British), 10kDM(German), 10kPLN(Polish). We could exchange at any banks if they are around.

Severus did the exact same thing, packing his clothes, personal stuff, towels/washcloths in a duffle bag shrunk down, and his shrunken broom, the food survival pack, shelter survival kit in his messenger bag that strapped across his body.

Alastor Moody arrived ready to go with us. He told me he would have a glamor spell on him while we travelled among the muggles. That was a good idea because that crazy eye and scars would draw attention. He had a messenger bag across his body too. Must be a man thing. I think we were ready to go.

Severus and I kissed and hugged the kids goodbye. Harry cried. I felt bad for leaving them but told them we would send messages when we could to let them know where we were. I even got a map with a stick pin for Harry to follow us on. I stuck it on his wall in his bedroom.

We apparated to Dover on the southern coast of England, and apparated across the English Channel to Calais, France. We travelled across Europe apparating from town to city and stopped at different places in-between to sleep and eat Brussels, Belgium/ Dusseldorf, Germany/ Berlin, Germany/ Poznan, Poland/ Suwalki, Poland/ Varėna in Dzūkija, Lithuania. I sent the kids a Serpent-Dragon patronus on nights we didn't have a magical community available to tell them where we are.

I cooked up at different times my famous spaghetti dinner with meatballs, roasted chicken and wild mushroom rice pilaf, but most times we ate at restaurants and diners. The translation spell I used would make me sound like a natural citizen of the country we were in. It was very handy. I taught it to both Severus and Alastor. We got along well and had a few laughs before we went to sleep each night. Sometimes we traveled under concealment spells by broom, because apparating across the country is exhausting.
