After that Kriti went to meet Ishan in the hotel as she didn't have a chance to do so in the stadium.

"Hey, you okay? After the match?" Kriti asked Ishan with geniune concern

"I am fine"

"You sure?"

"Kriti I am fine I am probably feeling better than everyone else because I got a good score, you should talk to Dewald, his brother isn't here, he's not able to contact his family Tilak and I tried he ain't feeling well, please talk to him I know you can, plus he has a soft spot for you " Ishan told Kriti trying to convince her that he was okay, which he wasn't because it's all about the team.

"Okay I'll go but you are fine right?"

"Yes"

"Okay I'll go talk to him"

"Thank you"

As she went to look for Dewald who was sitting by himself in the hotel's rooftop area alone isolated from the crowd and didn't look his best.

She went and just sat beside him.

"Hi" he said

"Hey" she replied

"So....... what are you doing here" He asked her.

"Well I could ask you the same as, you played well today what's wrong with you?"

"Well? I scored 27 runs"

"In 13 balls, that's not terrible"

"I got out for a stupid shot"

"Eveyone makes mistakes"

"There's a chance I'll not even be in the next match"

"You'll get a chance, I am sure"

"How?"

"Believe"

"I do but when it doesn't happen-"

"It'll happen someday, if not today then tomorrow"

"I didn't play a single match last season, got one chance and screwed it up"

"Dewald, see I don't think you were bad at all and believe me I have been watching cricket my entire life and even played till a level, getting a chance to go out there and play is a very big thing and I know not everyone gets it, but you did your thing you were good, and there is no profit in thinking about it now what happened has already been done and it can't be changed, so enjoy your present, your current environment and see it'll all be okay at the end-" She was telling him but he cut her off

"You are telling this to me? Like I don't care if I should rude but aren't you grieving on your ex-boyfriend's death who broke up with you before dying and who you never even said I love you to?" He said cutting her off in frustration

"Who told you all this?" She asked him with seriousness.

"I heard it okay" he said getting up

"I am sorry for eavesdropping but you are last person I would like to hear a motivational move on speech from" He said leaving

While Kriti was just there contemplating about everything.

Both of them couldn't sleep well that night, all because of what he said.

Try listening to Agar Tum Saath Ho for this I can't find the perfect song yet but this might be good.
