Girl Meets The Belt

Kermit dragged the girls up to his room and locked the door.

A: What the fuck are you doing?

Ke: You'll see in a minute. Go stand against the wall, face towards me.

The girls went and stood against the wall. They were both super scared at what Kermit could be doing.

Kermit went into his closet and, a few minutes later, came out with multiple belts.

A: Not this again.

Ke: Yes, this again.

M: Again?

A: Yeah. It happens pretty often.

Ke: Well if you weren't such a bitch it wouldn't.

A: Fuck you.

Kermit hit her with one of the belts, but he didn't stop hitting her. He just kept hitting her until Maya spoke up and said something.

M: Leave her alone!

Ke: No. She left me at the airport.

M: Yeah, because of me! It's my fault she left you!

Ke: So?

M: So leave her alone!

Ke: You want me to hit you?

M: Will you leave her alone?

Ke: For a little while.

M: Then... yes.

Ke: Okay.

Kermit started hitting Maya with the belt. Amber wanted to stop him, but she was too weak.

Ke: Are you done talking back to me?

M: Are you done being a bitch?

Kermit looked at Maya with a super angry look and hit her again, but even harder than he did before.

After beating the girls for a little while, Kermit finally calmed down enough to stop.

Ke: Go to your rooms. Don't come out of your rooms for the rest of the night.

The girls both slowly went to their rooms and laid down. Maya got a video chat call from Lucas a few minutes later. She answered but didn't show her face because she had been crying and there was blood on her face.

L: Hey.

M: Hey.

L: Whatcha doin?

M: Nothing.

L: Have you been crying?

M: No.

L: Maya.

M: Yes.

L: Why?

M: Kermit's a bitch.

L: What happened?

M: My sister drove off without him at the airport because of me, and he got pissed.

L: Did he do anything?

Maya didn't say anything. She was trying to think of how to answer. She didn't want to rat her dad out and him get pissed but she also didn't want to lie to Lucas.

L: Maya?

M: What? Sorry, I zoned out.

L: Did he do anything to you?

M: No, he just yelled a lot.

L: Are you sure?

M: Yes.

L: Then why aren't you showing your face? You always love showing your face on face time.

M: I'm just tired. And an ugly crier.

L: Oh shut up.

M: Excuse me?

L: You're not an ugly crier.

M: You've only ever seen me cry a few times. All of them I was weak. Not because I was yelled at.

L: Maya, it's okay to cry. Always remember that.

M: I'll call you back in a sec Huckleberry.

Maya felt like she was gonna have another breakdown, so she went to Amber's room. She was lucky that no one saw her leave her room.

She knocked on Amber's bedroom door, and she answered. When Amber saw her, she pulled her into her room and locked the door.

A: What are you doing? We aren't supposed to leave our rooms.

Maya just looked at her. She was already crying, about to have a breakdown.

A: Come on, sit down.
