⇲ DAYS had passed since Adriana had been in the hospital. I didn't know she had epilepsy but at least I found out now. I mean not like we're anything but it's the thought that counts. Class has been good, nothing really is happening between us besides occasionally touching, and flirting.

Right now I was over her house since we were gonna work out. We did invite Kehlani but she had told me she was going out. Which was good on her cause she's better than me. I've also been talking to my parents, they know about my sister cheating and they weren't happy.

They said they had the longest talk ever with her which I knew for a fact it was mostly yelling. "Yall are leaving me?" Kehlani said, faking her sadness. "You're leaving us, shut up." Adriana chuckled, she put her hand on my lower back and I swear I felt my heart drop because of how good her touch is. "We'll be back." I said. We soon got into her car, a silence brought on us. She turned the music on and I hummed to the song.

It was a Billie song, I didn't listen to her much but whenever I did, she hit hard. Then she spoke up. "You ready to punch some punching bags?" She asked. I hummed. "I have to get my anger out somehow, right?" I hated to admit it but it was pretty awkward.

We hadn't spoke about what had happened before she passed out. In fact we ignored it like the plague. Looking down at my feet, I saw on the floor, a red cloth with white spots on it, seeming like it was meant to be white.

Soon enough we got there, she had opened the door for me twice, leading me in.

It was empty, like really empty. It was only the two of us as we walked further down. "You're not gonna kill me are you?" I asked jokingly. She shrugged and smirked. "Maybe." She Said in response.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay we're gonna work out here, once we're done with that, you can do any workout you'd like." She smiled. I nodded and I set my stuff down. We both had stretched, her eyes set on me. It was hard to keep staring at her because of how nervous she made me feel.

We got on our asses, spreading our legs and we began talking. When she started talking, I noticed something red on her upper arm, then on her neck. "How's school going?" She asked me, I shrugged. "It's cool, I like it."

"Any friends?" I nodded. "Elizabeth and I talk once in a while, not often though." I shrugged. "Have you talked to her yet?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why?" I asked her and she frowned.

"She was killed two days ago." She said and my heart dropped. "W-what? I had just talked to her three days ago, what happened?"

She shrugged, masking a look I couldn't see fast enough. "Something about walking home late, not locking her car door."

I sighed, shaking my head. "Wow...My only friend from school was murdered..." I went the rest of the workout, upset and confused. I had just talked to her, we were laughing, talking about school, talking about my family and hers.

I felt sad. When we had gotten back to Adriana's apartment, kehlani still wasn't back so I was just about to go home before Adriana spoke up. "You can take a shower here." She said, I shrugged.

"I'm good, I'll take one at mine." I told her and she nodded. "I'm gonna take one, I won't be long then I'll cook!" She said, surprisingly she kissed my forehead and I shivered. My phone started ringing, and it seemed to be my mommy. "Yeah, what's up?" I asked as I answered it.

She let out a cry. "You have to come home." She said, my other mom was trying to calm her. "What? What is going on??" I asked, very confused.

"The police called...They said they found Scarlett in her shower. She had wrote a note, saying she was sorry for the harm she caused us all." She cried out.

Tears has brewed in my eyes. "What?!" I asked. I know I needed to say something else but I couldn't. "They said her wrists were tied up and there were words carved into her thigh."

What the fuck Is happening right now? "Okay mama, I'm gonna get there as soon as possible." Mommy had said she loved me in Italian and we both hung up.

I hurried to Adriana's bedroom since her bathroom and bedroom were connected. I saw on her bed, a red and white cloth and a white bag. It looked like there was red in it but I didn't question it.

Well I was a little curious but it wasn't my business. Then I saw a board, it was filled with faces of people we both knew. Before I could even walk over there, she opened her door and spoke up. "What are you doing?" She asked behind me.

I jumped a bit, turning around. "I was just looking around, I didn't wanna disturb you." She was still fully dressed. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "I thought you were taking a shower?"

She nodded. "I was about to and I got a text from Valentina." She mumbled. "I heard about what happened, you okay?" She asked but there was no real remorse on her face. But she masked it into emotion.

Was that what I saw in her face earlier? "I'm upset. But I still don't understand. She would never do that to herself for cheating." I started

"And what doesn't make sense is that that guy who I saw at the club, had the same suicide." It didn't make any sense to me. Why did they kill themselves the same way? I watched as Adriana turned around and put her head down.

She then turned back around and she shook her head. "Yeah that's pretty weird." Was all she had to say. I rolled my eyes. "You're probably thinking I'm crazy, huh?" She walked closer to
Me, grabbing my waist. "No, I think it's pretty amazing how well you know these things." She whispered, pulling me close.

I gulped. "Do you want me to get someone to look into it?" She asked. I shook my head. "I don't wanna make it this whole thing." I muttered. She nodded, and sighed. "You wanna take a flight tomorrow?" She asked me, I nodded.

"Yeah." I muttered. Well shit.
