"Adi ke sath movie ka plan banaya hai maine, Wednesday ko woh aa jayega tere ghar." Shehnaaz told him.
"Ha thik hai na. By the way, this aloo matar is too good ha!?" He complimented her, almost finishing the poori sabji she brought.
"Mummy bada acha bana leti hai yaar, matlab yadi hum dono same recipe hi bana rahe hota hai na. Tabhi bhi unke hath me alag hi swaad ayega tujhe!" She replied, eating the food from his tiffin.
"Tu itna sa hi khana khata hai?" She asked him. His tiffin had rice, daal, tinde ki sabji and some yogurt.
"Ha, maine abhi dieting chalu ki hai. Raat ko bhi sirf do roti khane laga hu." He replied, showing her two of his fingers.
"Haaye, tujhe kya zarurat hai dieting ki? Itna fit hai! Uspe aur kya karna hai?" She asked further. He was as fit as a fiddle, although there used to be a small belly pooch appearing in the picture every time he sat. And she was able to notice it while he wasn't wearing a shirt. Well, more precisely every time he was naked with her. Wink.
"Mujhe apna diet sahi se karna hai, meetings me aaye din bahar khane laga tha." He replied.
"Acha, toh mujhe bhi batana. Meko bhi karna hai." She replied and looked at her, amused.
"Moti hoti ja rahi hu yaar mai, pata mere ek top tight hone lagi hai." She added and he nodded.
"Mai tere sath workout karna chalu karu? Tu building wali gym me jata hai na?" She asked.
"Even though you look wonderfully fine to me. Pakka regularly kar payegi? Gym start karegi phir mai tujhe wapas nahi jane dunga." He told her.
"Ha, karungi na. Aise kyu bol raha hai? Mushkil hota hai?" She asked and he chuckled, shaking his head.
"Habit me lana hai bas, phir maza aata hai. Sath me workout karenge." He nodded. In his mind, he knew she would give him a hard time waking up early but he was looking forward to it. Maybe working out together could be their new thing.
"Mere se dumbbells nahi bolna uthane. Mai cardio kar lungi." She told him.
"Woh toh mai ghar pe karwa dunga." He replied, winking at her. She laughed out loud once she understood what he meant.
Later when Shehnaaz was on her way home in the evening, Madhu called her to grab some vegetables and a few grocery essentials on her way. Getting off at the very next stop from her bus, Shehnaaz took a cab and rerouted to a nearby market. To her luck, there was a Relianz grocery store nearby where she could use her id card to claim an extra discount as an employee in the same company.
"Paise bachenge uske fruits le lungi. Next week se gym chalu karni hai toh fruits wagera hone chahiye fridge me." She was talking to herself while entering the store when she didn't notice another girl coming her way and her hit the girl's trolley.
"Oww!" Shehnaaz moaned in pain, the metal hit her exactly on her knee.
"I'm sorry Mam, maine aapko dekha nahi. I'm so sorry." Nidhi apologized.
"What happened?" Just then Naman joined her.
All of them were equally surprised to find out who they ran into. Nidhi was as uncomfortable as Shehnaaz was, Naman's situation wasn't different either. This was the last thing he could have wished for but he wondered of he could turn this into an opportunity.
"Excuse me." Shehnaaz mumbled, grabbing herself a trolley from the stack as she began to think of all those items Madhu asked her to bring.
"Um, mam. I'm Nidhi and I'm sorry about that-" Nidhi followed her.
