Sidharth and Shehnaaz arrived in Lonavala. The lush green hills and the cool, gentle breeze greeted them as they checked into one of the town’s renowned hotels. The place was charming, with a classic blend of luxury and homeliness. Their room had a large window that framed a stunning view of the rolling hills and valleys and they could already tell that their stay was going to be both relaxing and memorable.
"All of this, poora stay paid hai na?" She asked him and he nodded, settling their bags into the closet.
"Good." She replied before she jumped on the bed and its mattress helped her bounce.
"Hehehe." She stood up and did that again, her intrusive thoughts wouldn't let her stay normal unless she'd have done that.
"Pagal." He mumbled, returning from the bathroom after he washed his face.
After freshening up from their journey, they settled onto the plush bed in the hotel room. The bed was adorned with soft, white linens and plenty of cozy pillows. Shehnaaz, with her carefree spirit, had chosen a flowy, light blue sundress for the day, which matched perfectly with the serene surroundings.
They lay together on the bed, nestled in each other's arms. The atmosphere was calm, with only the occasional chirping of birds breaking the silence. They talked softly, their voices mingling with the faint hum of the air conditioner.
"Thodi der me ready hoke nikalna hai function ke liye. Sona nahi!" She reminded him when he closed his eyes.
"Hm." He replied.
"Chai mangwau tere liye?" She asked and he sighed, opening his eyes and nodding. She grabbed the landline and ordered tea and refreshments for both of them accordingly.
"Tujhe jab award milega, toh tu mera naam lena okay?!" She told him and he looked at her, surprised.
"Acha?" He asked.
"Ha! Obviously, mera nahi lega toh kiska naam lega?" She replied, sitting up and getting pretty serious about this topic.
"Right, right." He nodded.
"Kuch socha wocha hai ke avein? Stage pe atak-atak ke nahi bolna, um- Vardhan ya Mom ya Shehnaaz ya koi aur. Sochle. Aram se." She instructed him and he obediently nodded as if he was keeping in mind, her points.
"Kehna, thank you so much, Shehnaaz, my wife and the love of my life." She told him and began to laugh, he giggled as well.
"Aur?" He asked her further.
"Hm.. the lady luck in my life. Haaye, yeh sunke teri Mummy ne bolna hai, ek maa aur teen behene kam thi. Iss ladki ne luck dilaya!" She joked and the two laughed out loud at it, high-fiving each other.
"Oye Sidharth, ek baat bolu. Tu clean shave me kitna acha lag raha hai yaar!" She mentions, caressing his freshly shaved face. He did especially for the event today.
"Thanks." He mumbled, feeling her warm palm on his face. He smiled and bit her ear when she bent down to kiss his cheek.
"Aaah! Sidharth! Kutte!" She pushed herself up, rubbing her right ear continuously to soothe the pain all while glaring at him. She knew what that bite meant, what his intentions were and those weren't very wise at the moment.
"Idhar dikha." He replied, holding her hand by the elbow and pulling her to him.
"Ready hona hai yaar, nahi kar abhi." She told him.
"Arey, kaan dikhana." He asked her.
"Dant lagge tere! Dekh, nishan ban gaya hoga!" She complained, forwarding her ear to him.
